The answer to your question is very easy - Jodha wants to be the 'pyaar' in Jalal's 'pyaar-less' life. 😉

I seriously cherished Hamida's harsh retort to Maham - hope she acts like that with Maham more often. 😛

Awesome post! Mind if I ask your name? 😳

I really appreciate your ability to put a positive spin on jodhas crass behavior today. I haven't watched the episode yet so can't say for sure . But from what I'm reading it's apparent jodha is totally lacking on many many levels.

Whether her primary concern is jalal or her family, that's open to speculation. But she could have stopped at I think you should leave, it's not safe here for you . And I'm so sorry that us Ameris failed to protect you . There was no need for her to say I'm worried for my sister etc etc. we can say her charm is her honesty but that's not true. She lied to her mom when they visited her for the first time and what's worse she made big j lie too those few days . Sometimes a small lie can go a long way. What is the pint of brutal honesty when it's totally lacking in sensitivity?
There is a time and place for honesty and jodha knows that as we have seen she protects her parents and family when she needs to.
She claims that jalal has no conscience but where is hers? How do you knowingly be so mean to someone ? How can your own self respect ( which she claims Ameris have in ample quantity) allow you to do that ? Can you sleep peacefully at night ?

After all that how can you go get mehndi ? Does she not feel bad that for all her bhashans on ameri bravery everybody failed to protect jalal and he had to do it himself ? And that she almost lost her suhaag again ?

What's sad is that she will never know how bad she was. Jalal will continue to fawn over her and she will eventually reciprocate but he is too much of a softie and a gentleman to ever tell her about her follies . He will just be grateful to have her at all and she will think she is doing him a favor and continue believing that she was right all along. Go nari shakti ! I really hope jalal pupils a maham on her and gives her a taste of her own medicine!

At this point I miss ruq. And pratap is way more graceful in giving credit where it's due compared to jodha masked feelings or not.

On another note, really enjoy your posts :)

Loved your post!
It took something really big (the tiger incident) to bring this benevolent nature of Jalal towards Jodha . Both their egos are still there but Jalal has toned down a bit. Jodha cares. She truly cares for her husband but lies about it to everyone. She, who hated him so much, finds it really difficult to accept the change and acknowledge how important he is to her. Its just all her bossy nature, facade of ghrina, pride and ego. Whenever Jalal craves for attention from her, she masks her inner feelings. To her, its like loosing a battle and she doesn't want to give in so easily. Perhaps, she fears the taunts that will come her way like: "You hated the shehenshah so much. But look now Jodha, you've fallen for that very same man" . Ofcourse, we know no one is going to taunt her, its just her SUBCONSCIOUS feeling. Just as it took something big for Jalal to melt, it will take something big for JO to melt too and accept the changes.

The whole forum is bashing Jo's behaviour today. Didn't we bash Jalal in the same way when he used to plot with Ruq against Jo, when he lifted his sword to kill her after she falsely confessed to being the reason of Ruq's miscarriage? But he renewed himself and we don't have any qualms against Jalal today. In the similar manner, Jodha too will raise in our eyes. Everyone has their opinion, but I guess ppl need not get so frustrated. Its just a show . :)

Good Night and have a nice day tomorrow!!

I thought today that Jodha genuinely cares for Jalal but she isnt masking it...she is using her taunts to somehow shield it.It was again a verbal showdown between the two.If anyone of them them takes the step into that right direction of showing some progression, the other one makes either a snide or egotistic remark that takes him a step back.
Jalal was in a dilemma today and i thought Jodha would help him but she only made things worst.
I feel that she was hurt to know that Jalal still considers her his enemy, his hater so she lashes out on him.You say i hate you well FYI no one loves you.It was an emotional upheaval of two hot heads each trying to one up the other.Jodha was quick to say she doesnt hate him but pity him.I will commend her for her honesty but Jalal doesnt want her pity,he wants her love, her advice, her care.
I guess each of them have their own way of showing how much they care for others.I am glad that Jalal even wanted to seek advice to Jodha. He allowed her to walk in his shoes and just for a couple of seconds experience the weight on the shoulders of an Emperor but even she couldnt do that.
For Jodha to understand Jalal she doesnt need to see/hear about what he does...she has to walk, breathe and live like him as an emperor but most importantly how his position affects his life as a normal human being.
I for one am glad that these two an get over an argument that fast and be completely normal with each other.
Next scene wail Jalal going to watch Jodha dancing was an example of how they can have a normal and healthy relationship. They dnt let the bad blood between them ruin their ideas of fun.😆

😆 for the last lines, Amy.😆😆😆😆😆😆... yes, it was an emotional upheaval of two hot heads where Jalaal was furious that Jodha does not care about him and Jodha was furious that Jalaal does not think of her as family and considers her an enemy, That is what most people seem to have missed in the conversation - or maybe its just a different POV. I don't know.😆

I totally loved the argument as it was an EQUAL fight , Call me insane but i like fiery couples only when the fire is from both the sides and its emotional.

Wonderful analysis Mallikaji 😊 You have accurately described everything that was going inside my head while watching the episode.
Today I'm going to take sides not because I'm a Jalaal fangirl but because Jodha genuinely annoyed me a bit. Anybody who saw her yesterday watching Jalaal try to tame the elephant with her heart in her throat will know she is lying about not caring what happens to Jalaal. I guess she is not ready to show her emotions to her husband which is forgivable. Jalaal's outburst is also forgivable because how long can he continue to be sweet and gentle when there is no response from the other side. In his book, he is taking steps to change their relationship but there is no reciprocation. And everything that he said, even in anger, was nothing but the truth. Jalaal cannot be impulsive like Jodha. He cannot go jumping into lakes and such. As a shahenshah every step he takes has to be carefully thought out because it not only affects him but so many other people. But how does Jodha respond to this lesson about careful thinking and the situational disadvantages of impulsiveness? With her I-pity-you speech. That speech was quite stupid and made no sense. It did not seem like a Rajput princess talking. Jalaal as the King has to endure such consequences of occupying the throne. It is not just a Mughal thing. Any King, Indian or European, hindu or muslim, has to be prepared for such consequences - being surrounded by enemies and sinister plots and attempts on their lives is a way of life for Kings. Jalaal does not own exclusive rights over that distrust of those around him. So the whole I pity you shiz did not make sense to me personally. I mean is Amer and Bharmal safe from all? What about her brother Sujamal? Is he not fighting for the throne? How is that different?
Moving on, the scene with Jalaal and the little princesses was adorable as usual! How can Jodha continue to think badly of a man who is so sweet to her little sisters?!
I loved the Hamida-MA scene. Hamida quietly and firmly put MA in her rightful place. She once again proved exactly how a Queen should behave. Although it is ironic that she advised a cunning and calculative MA to think with her mind and not her heart!
It was an interesting episode and Rajat was perfect in the Jalaal outburst scene. Paridhi looked very pretty in her mehendi outfit.

I don't know what to say anymore when it comes to Jodha!! She was exceptionally rude today...such hurtful words cannot be justified yaar..
If she can't ask him how he is after an attack on his life(which a normal person would do even in case of a stranger) the least she could have done was cut down her hurtful words...The 'Nobody loves you' comment was the limit !!! No need to be nice to him or sweet, but why the need to be so hurtful? It showed in his eyes how hurt he was😭
And after all this...I felt like slapping Jalal in the last scene!Seriously, running behind Jo after all this?? These two are unbelieveable😡😆😆

Thanks.😳... first things, first. Please , please don't see my posts as defence lawyer's posts. These are strictly my views and I have no intention of slapping them on anyone.

For the rest. agreed, Jodha was hurtful but so was Jalaal. If Jodha told him that nobody loves him, Jalaal too categorized her as an enemy who was the same as all those who want to kill him. They both caused hurt to each-other and that is that.

As for the valid question from where it all started , if Jodha cannot answer whether she cares for Jalaal or not , Jalaal cannot answer her either when posed with a similar question. If she hides behind Amer ki chintaa, Jalaal has the smooth excuse of 'Mughal Sultanate ki izzat'.

Its a war of equals and nobody is a victim here. Neither Jodha and nor Jalaal , if we put our idea of behaviour template aside.😆
