As for Bakshi not becoming widow bit...me thinks it'll be Jo who'll request Jalal not to sever his head..

In the movie Jalal spared his life staying that he's doing so ONLY because he is his sister's husband.

But here he might kill him & Jodha will stop him. Yes. That would be exactly what she would do.
