Because firstly, he is and has always been attracted to Jodha. That much is obvious. And he does harbour some feelings for her. And about the Mandir part, it was because he is a deeply spiritual person and this is start of his journey to becoming the great man he is. He did not do it for Jodha, he did it for himself. To answer his quest for religious truth.

@Pupcat...You raise a valid point hun but I would respectfully disagree... A Shehensha would never lower his head unless he really meant it... He would never humble himself unless he was genuine... Besides, he may not be Akbar yet, but it was clear that he respects religion in general, not just HIS religion. He allowed Jodha to keep her faith and build a mandhir in his Harem... This was all Jalal not Akbar... I love you to bits sugar so I hope you don mind... These are just my opinions😛😛😛

boond boond se talaab bharta hai..pehle jodha begum to khush ho jaye phir baaki ka rajputana bhi ho jayega..i think he was a religious person that is why he established his own religion din e illahi which was aimed towards merging of hindus and muslims. he was the only secular mughal emperor!

look if the CVs show jalal faking in the name of god, it will be completely illogical & moreover can give rise to the protests. look i can also be wrong, but jalal is a religious person so i believe he wont do tht.

lets wait nd watch. but logically jalal cant fake in the name of god. & if he does tht wont be jalal, tht would be the CVs. he can do bad things, but faking with god is not him.

I don't think there is any faking... It would be unnecessary... If Jalal wanted to win the Rajputs over he could have just ordered new jewellery for the temple... That would have been enough. I don't think he's resort to cheap theatrics. I think he was genuine👏
