To me Jalal is so critical character to understand him after Ajmer trip.. Your brilliant depiction gave me some clues abt his present thought.

Riyya, it would have been great for you if Mohan had lived and become the Official Commentator of the Serial ... the script for Mohan would have been like this:

"Ab Jalal Jodha ke bahut paas muh rakh ke kaha raha hai "Meri Baagni, tum mujhe yahaan scratch karo ... Grrr!"

"Aur Jodha sharmaake kaha rahi hai "Mere Baag, aap mera sar mat khao. Keep your flirting and scratching requests for your other begums, mujhe ghrna abhi bhi thodi baaki hai ...Grrr!"

The "Grrr" at the end of each sentence is Mohan's way of adding high sound effects to make the script exciting!

Jyoti, who has watched serials for a decade and done her own analysis on the TRP factor also concurs that there is an unwritten rule in Hindi TV serials that hero is never shown as having two active sleeping relationships. One is ended before the other is begun.

Since public taste runs this way I have no doubt Ekta will be one of the surest people to follow the public taste. She will see that she ends the Jalal-Ruq sleeping relationship before she begins the Jodha-Jalal sleeping relationship. But we have a fair bit of way to go before we reach that stage.

I'm just wondering what's the age of u guys 😉...

Riyya, this is purely my opinion. I don't think Jalal is yet ready to admit he loves Jodha, but he is surely attracted beyond "normal" to her, and he does seem to like her companionship a lot nowadays because it spices up his life!

She is different from all the people around him and he is intrigued. Plus, of course, we know that from the earliest time he visited Amer he does think she is very attractive.

At different points in the story he has been telling himself that his "fascination" for her (or rather his "preoccupation" with her) is because of her hatred towards him that he wants to quell, or her arrogance that he wants to subdue. Now that script has changed and she has become the object that he is enjoying "playing with" and "teasing". Maybe that's all he is willing to admit for the moment.

As viewers watching all this from a distance we can say we see the beginnings of love, although I am quite sure he is not ready to admit it in the same words.My own feeling comes from watching the desperation with which he wants to go to Amer, and from the look in his eyes that seem to betray strong feelings for Jodha hidden behind flirty words.

The fun part of our lives is this speculation of whether he is already in love or not! Your guess is as good as mine, and our guess is as good as Jalal's!

The one person who will surely get the correct picture before all of us is Maham, since her antennae are up! So let's watch her to see how she reads the developing situation!
