Only maham can understand jalal and she trying to make Ruq realize about it, but our jalal knows very well how to tackle Ruq.
Ruq believes what ever jalal says and our jodha she doubts on jalal in either cases.if he does some good or if he does some bad jodha will declare that he is doing on some purpose to take revenge from her.

jallu meant it deeply from his soul...he has fallen deeply in love with jodha...but its just that even jallu is not aware of his own emotions that he is in love with jodha therefore the laughter and change of topic to cheer ruku...i guess the realisation will take time but there is a hint in tdys epi that he has fallen deeply in love with jodha and also obsessed with her...his eyes spoke whatever his mouth couldn't whether its with jodha or ruku...
