You're right Pallavi...she's losing the ground to hate him so SHE'S POSSIBLY TRYING TO HATE HIM MORE! Her conscience has told her so...Jalal himself told her so...yet, she's standing where she's standing! Unless Jalal has a near-death experience (Mohan) her attitude is not going to change

I liked the pretext of all the tracks you've described above...only wished a little more care went into it while directing it ...like how they'd taken when directing the episode yesterday...

Anyway, anything RT does he does with such conviction, its amazing to watch...like when he was watching the snake and smiling...😆

Btw, it was a rubber snake right, how did its tongue hiss.? I liked that touch...shaayad RT ko dekh ke uska bhi jee jaag gayaa...😆

Finally caught up on the episode and then re-read your analysis. Loved it!

To me, Jodha was utter disappointment today.

I cannot believe she discusses her sleeping arrangement with others. Whatever relationship she shares with her husband needn't be advertised. She almost seemed obsessed about it .

As much as Jodha's behavior was intolerable, Jalal ... my my what do I say.

Man he has patience to deal with her! That itself is a big plus considering how unnerving she was.

Anycase it seems like Jodha is fighting a losing battle. I hope the Mohini incident helps her reflect on her behavior and correct it.

hi lashy, wonderful post as usual! the episode seemed to be bit rushed today, seemed like te whole team was in a hurry to go somewhere, maybe the press conference😡..and rajat looked stressed out although he was trying hard to give good expressions, but for some reason he was not into the scenes fully, something was missing, maybe that is why he avoids all the media stuff because it distracts him to the extent that it affects his performance..i missed the gusse wala akbar and hated jodha in every scene, same old boring tanna wala dialogues!

HI, More than, Jodha, jalal or even the mohini, I loved this title. So opt for Jodha's stuborn mindset. It is like read only format (not a rewritable rom), Once programmed, you can't change the command. She has programmed her system to blame Jalal for each and everything. And we are here to hear those torturous dialogues. Someone should present her paper and pencil not a permanant ink pen to write on her heart.

One thing is clear after watching the assassin scene, that is about the removed bullets from the gun. Our beloved Jodha Begum removed those bullets to ensure that Jalal doesn't kill anyone during the piligrimage as they are on holy trip and not to play holi with human blood. Just can't imagine a princess doing this (disarming the armour) during the trip via jungle. What did she think, that wild animals will come and say Good morning Jodha Begum, we love your peace pact and have a safe journey (with utmost safety from Jalal, the wild person) through the jungle?

I just hope she also shows some normal human emotions (like fear & shock) on seeing teh snake and concern for Jalal as he is holding it. Yaar even now, I am getting goosebumps just by remembering the size of that snake and he was actually holding it.

Coming to precap, it is not that he doesn't acrry money it is that the notion with which the donation is made. The jewells of a queen are valued in a totally different scale than the regular jewelles. There are 'n' of cases in history where in we have read about the queens donating the jewells to the welfare of the common people (to build a lake or to construct a temple, renovate some village) etc. It is not that the king was not able to bear that cost but to show the genorosity of the queen. May be here also, Jodha might be ready to donate her jewells to the fakir and Shehenshah would have stopped it and given his turbain instead it carries the same or more value tha the queens jewells. May be he would have thought it is unauspicious for his begum (married woman) to remove her jewells

I really don't know how they will revive Jodha's cahrecter now after giving her an harping tongue so far. How will she change that to sweet talks? god only knows (or CVs only know)

About the turban.. idk.. I have read that Akbar had sent his crown to jehangir when he in rebellion.. jehangir was mourning the death of his wife.. he sent him some robe and his turban because jehangir was so distraught that he had not eaten for days... so I have a feeling that there could be some folklore regarding the incident..

I have read about this incident somewhere actually. So, no this is not exactly baseless. Jalal could have easily given money, but him giving up his turban was symbolic. And I was rather affected.

Lovely post Lashy. 👏 Your posts are infinitely more lovely than the show itself. 😆 Jodha is getting on my nerves, to be honest. And they need to redeem the girl. She is a brand new kind of annoying. I guess, as Mansi said, this is the final burst of rebellion before the said "epic romance". But Jalal was the star. Every episode revolves around him and his unpredictable reactions. ⭐️
