A person who attempts suicide is not necessarily a weak person...suicide is often a result of a moment of weakness...that precious moment when the wrecked individual needs to be told that you gonna sail through...you are wanted and needed...no, I am not justifying suicide...just saying...emotions and failures can drive one to extremes...

My opinion about today's episode. Mainavati should have requested permission to speak with her daughter alone.

She knows how hard and how much jodha
hates Jalal. She should also know her daughters stubbornness and willfulness and know that nothing good can come from her speaking about this in front of everyone. I actually thought that Jodha lost a lot today.

She has already lost her identity as a princess of amer to that of an unwanted Begum.

She lost the support that she thought she had of her family.

She lost the battle between her inner conscience of making the best of a rotten deal, hence why she wants to commit suicide.

She lost the respect, IMO , of every family member in Agra by them thinking she wants to leave her husband. Further, they all now know that Jalal doesn't want her and is okay with her leaving Agra.

She has no one, all though in todays episode I definitely agreed with her inner self saying to her that she has always been looking at Jalal wrongly. She takes everything he does and twists it, but then again I'm quite an impulsive person as well so I understand Jodhas impulsiveness and at times irresponsible behavior.

It's funny but I like the fact that Jodha is shown as human who makes errors, doesn't always behave queenly and is relatable. I know we all want 16 th century formidable queen represented who capturs Jalals heart but at this time in the story Jodha is exactly how one could expect a real life situation to be. Jodha has faults. Many faults and they are all at the forefront right now but she will have her time to shine and shine bright once the iner turmoil within her is settled. There is nothing to change about Jodha other than time will see her settle and bring forth the nobleness that is already within her seeking to come out.

What I said in vicky's post that Jodha is afraid of ruqaiyaa's words what she said her on the reception night that once jalal applies all his rights on her,she would be thrown away like a toy,same thing told by maham too..This thing is not letting her to behave like a WIFE as she doesn't want to be used only to fulfill her husband's physical needs.

Again, I wouldn't think he was wasting time with Ruqs...after all, its from the harem that Jodha has been found missing..so he's waiting by in Ruq's chamber till he gets news of Jodha from his soldiers...also, he needs his opiate shot (Ruqs😉) to be able to think clearly!

Ok here we go...firstly Ela, he went to her - like how you or I- in our college days would have gone to our best friend if something wrong was going on in our lives...

when its matters of the court he goes to his courtiers and when its matters of the harem he goes to his advisor cum confidante Ruqs...

I know it seems like that makes him weak...but trust me...for every successful emperor there were at least a few driving forces behind them...Chandragupta Maurya had chanakya (not saying that Ruqs or his ministers are chanakya)...

without media/technology and all their knowledge being handed over or hearsay how could a king function without his advisors? Even good/successful kings are known to have had very dark stages in their lives - when the responsibility of such important decisions lay upon them the fear of making a wrong one would/could have eaten them up from inside! That's why in our Hindu scriptures many-a-powerful-king is known to have sought the help of saints/sages to solve the issues them or their ministers couldn't understand!

As for concern for Jodha - I'm not going to lie! At this stage, it was purely his regard for the Sultanat thats driving him to find her...

Let's put it this way Ela - at this point if Jalal dies, Jodha's not going to be distraught, if Jodha dies Jalal's not going to shed a tear! That's where they both stand in the serial!
