Yeh hai Asshiqui

The bus was all ready to move to the College Trip in Silavasa, I kept my first foot on the stairs of the bus. Paridhi was sitting with Ishita, I glanced at her and took the seat in front of her. This was not fun but an educational trip so I agreed to go and what can someone expect from a Bookworm, in 3^rd year of college.

I had closed my eyes but could keep them close for long as Chetan had a fight with Ishita. "Ishita go and sit there" he almost screamed.

"But Why?"

I took off one of my earphone to see what is the matter, It was his old habbit to show throw tantrum, "I wanna sit with Paridhi, so just move." I again closed my eyes without bothering much, I didn't realise when Paridhi got up from her seat and sat next to me. "Hi Rajat" She said.

I simply gave her a smile, Ishita had taken a seat next to Lavina and Chetan was with his best buddy Parag.

"What happened Paridhi?"

"Nothing, Chetan and his arrogance. He wanted to sit with me and I was in no mood to handle his tantrums, I hope you don't mind if I sit here?"

"No, not At all" I passed her one of my earphone, She took it without any fuss, "You also like RD Burman?"

"Yup" I said. She slept on my shoulder while listening music, I admired her in sleep. Paridhi was my crush, I liked her more than a friend but could never confess my feelings to her and Chetan was not the reason. It was just that I wont be able to handle her rejection so It was better to be friend only rather than not having any relation.

My best friend Aditi, who was seated right infront winked at me, "Good going" She teased in a low voice so that only I could hear."Shut Up Adi" I pushed aside her hair falling on her face with my fingers, she adjusted herself on my shoulder in her sleep and her hand encircled my neck.

Aditi She showed thumbs up sign to tease more, I slightly got to hit her but Pari made a sound, *umm*. "Baitha reh gadhe! Uth jayegi wo" Aditi taunted, "Ji Madam ji" and I too slept in few minutes.

We reached there around 8:30 at night, "Paridhi... Paridhi" I gently tapped her face. Slowly she opened her eyes, "Rajat Hum pahunch gye kya?"

"Hmm" She took off her arm around me, "Sorry, wo neend mai..."

"Its okay, koi baat nahi. I didn't mind" but Aditi muttered in between, "Yeh gadha mind karega bhi kyu?"

"Aditi you said something?" she asked, "Noop" Paridi got down, I slapped Aditi's head lightly. We both got down from the bus, It was a bit cold. Everyone draped something warm around them, I too covered my self with a jacket. "Attention everyone! Your room keys have been arranged, You may take them from the reception of the Hotel. Dinner will be ready by 9 till the time you can go and Fresh" Professor Ahmad announced.

I quickly changed and assembled in the dinning area, dinner was already arranged. Almost everyone was there, I took my plate and sat with Aditi. My eyes looked around for Paridhi, "Wo abhi tak nahi ayi hai, there was some problem in her room." Aditi said.

"Tu kiski baat kar rahi hai?" I said in What are you talking about tone. "Chal abhi zada bann Mat, Aati hi hogi wo. Accha ek baat to bata safar kaisa raha?"

"Stop teasing, Aditi" I concentrated on my food when door of the dinning room opened, Paridhi[pic] came with Ishita and Lavina. She placed food in her place and sat in front of me, "Hey Rajat.. Hi Aditi" I was seated between four girls Aditi, Lavina, Paridhi and Ishita who were busy gossiping but my gaze was fixed on her(Paridhi).

"Guys and Girls before you get lazy having this dinner, I wana to make another announcement. Tomorrow we'll first visit Tribal Cultural Museum, Bindrabin temple and at last Vanganga lake garden. At night we've arranged a dance and music night that was all now you may continue with your dinner"

When Professor Ahmad was over with his news, I'll completed my dinner in a hurry. "Kya hua Rajat aise kyu kha rahe ho?" Lavina said.

"Guys don't you know! Rajat baby ko Trip pe bhi study karna hai." Aditi said, "Its Nothing like that, I'll see u in morning. Byee Girls, Bye Paridhi" and I left for my room.

Next day, we visited Silvasa as Planned by Professor Ahmad, First to the tribal cultural museum, den to Bindrabin temple and lastly we were In the Vanganga lake garden. I was seated at a side reading a book and watching my friends enjoy. Aditi came to me for taking me along with her, "Oye bookworm yahan to book chodd... Chal na enjoy karte hain?"

"Tu Ja na yaar mein yahin theek hoon"

"20 ki umar main oldies ki tarah behave karte ho" and went back to our friends.

I looked around and paused my eyes on Paridhi, she was clicking pics near water with Ishita, Lavina and Aditi. When her eyes came on me I smiled, She called me with signal of her hands. I moved my head in negation, she shook her head, "Rajat, Come na" she shouted from there.

I kept my books aside and reached there before the next click, Aditi gave weird looks to me. "Kya hai? Aise kyu dekh rahi ho?' I said, "Main soch rahi hoon teri best friend ne bulaya n tum nahi aye bt Paridhi ne ek baar kaha n tum bhaag ke aye... hmm dekh rahi hoon main Dost Dost na raha"

But I ignored her teasing and enjoyed the water ride with Paridhi, When boat came between the lake Paridhi opened her arms at the edge of the boat. I stood behind her and place my arms near her arms, A perfect titanic pose.

"Guys Smile" Lavina said and Paridhi gave her million dollar smile for the click. I moved after the click, but she pulled me back, "Aye Rajat one more please"

"Okay"

But that one more was not just one more, we clicked several pics in funny poses. In last pic, she pecked my cheek generally girls blush in these cases but here I tried to control my blush. "Rajat last one please" she pointed at cheek. I felt little weird, giving look around I pecked a her cheek for the click and immediately moved back.

Aditi, Ishita and Lavina laughed hard on my condition, "Aaj tak ladkiyon ko sharmate hue dekha hai pehli baar ek ladke ko dekh rahi hoon" Ishita said.

When we reached back preperations for Dance and Music night were almost completed. Girls went to their room and I came to mine to freshen up. Dressing up for an party was a difficult task for me as I hardly attend any of them, not wasting much time I dressed up in 45 minutes and came down.

Everyone was there, some were busy on dance floor and some on food stalls. I looked around for my friends but before I could find Aditi jumped on my shoulder, "Waah yaar! tum to girls se bhi zada time lagate ho ready hone mein infact Paridhi tumse kam time leti hai"

"Plz aaj chup reh na."

I saw her dancing in center of the dance floor, she danced like a satin ribbon flowing here and there in a rhythm. I took a soft drink and stood at a corner admiring her dancing. Ishita and Lavina invited me to dance but I denied, After some time Paridhi came to me.

"Hey Rajat why are you standing here? Come on the Dance floor."

"No no I cant dance."

"Arrey to main kaunsi professional hoon, come na" though I said no, she took me to the floor. She danced and I tried to match up with her but suddenly Chetan came in between, he pushed me aside and held her hand.

"Chetan leave my hand" she shouted, he held it more vigorously. I came between, "Leave her Chetan, Ur hurting her."

"Just shut up Rajat, ur no one come in between me and my girl friend. And uh Paridhi, How dare you do dis? I was watching u since Trip had started. Just remember that you are mine.."

I couldn't take this more, so I punched him hard on his face which made him land on floor, "Enough Chetan.. Enough She is not ur girl friend or ur private property stop following her. I never said this before but now I confess I love her and don't even dare to look at her"

I held Paridhi's hand and took her out in the garden, She quietly came with me. After a long gap of silence I said, "Paridhi, Im sorry wo Chetan..."

"You said you love me inside.. So you really do?"

"Paridhi I.."

"Yes or No"

I finally confessed "Yes, I love you" and expected a slap from her but instead she place her lips on mine. She moved back after some seconds, I was in utter shock. "Kya Rajat... yeh bolne ke liye teen saal laga diye. Love uh too."
