First let joda get out of grina ...then love happens ...then SR ...THEN COMES SHEKU BABA AKBARS LAADLA AND FIRST SON ...AND HIS HEIR

I hope this ektha doesn't show SALIM given to rukku . As JALAL promises a wish to rukku n rukku asks joda son to give her son . As JALAL has given word n helpless he hangovers baby and does injustice to poor joda ...hope not ...because ektha doesn't follow real history ...she follows her own story line

Before Sheiku baba, they had Hassan and Hussain 3 years after marriage but they died young
Salim when he was 12 had chicken pox and was very unwell and on verge of death too. But he lived. Its mentioned in Akbarnama

On contrary the nobels and religious in Mughal court viewed him as a khafir since its mentioned by English/French ambassdors that he had apponited priests to teach royal kids about christanity, apart from islam studies. They assumed he wanted to convert to Christanity and wrote to Britan King that they are on verge of converting Emperor to Christianity but he just wanted to know about their relgion that's it.

These people were never completely happy with Akbar either. He was criticized for his open mindedness.

Look.. jehangir had a weakness for women anyways.. and the anarkali story is a fictional folklore.. the author of the story stated it was a work of fiction..she is niether there in akbarnama nor jehanigirnama..

Its obivous Akbarnama will never mention it as its written by Abul Fazl. It does not even mention Salim rebelling against Akbar. Only Jehangirnama mentions rebellion agianst father but reason not given. Why Salim did nt mention his love for Anarkali may be he was emperor now? Cannot speak against dead father in his diary?
But he built her a tomb in Lahore its called Anarkali tomb and Jehangir has a verse there o tomb which starts with Majnu(will any emperor call himself majnu for wife, no its only for lover) and ends with Salim son of Akbar. So people assume anarkali-salim story was true. Best part the tomb was started in 1605 the year akbar died although the person buried had died 7 years back in 1599. Hence everyone think that is anarkali's tomb because she died same year. Jehangir rebelled same year against Akbar and declared himself king.

Anarkali's story is not real. It was created in a play by famous urdu writer Syed Imtiaz Ali Taj .. from then on it has been a discussion if Anarkali's character is truth or myth.

I agree with you even I read the same thing.

But I find so many historians giving their version here in this forum. Better I stick to those which I have read my self and understood.
