By distrusting Jodha I mean that she is saying repeatedly how it happend by mistake and it was unintentional and she is sorry but Jalal is blind in rage...It doesnt matter to him that it was also MA 's mistake that she tried to pass from the place where holi was being played...Couldn't she see it or the colours flying in the air?
Surely even in those times there was a difference between a crime comitted intentionally or unintionally...He passes from the very colours he presented to her and wants to give her worst possible punishment...
Look it was a common passage and neither jodha nor maham did notice each other,we didn't see from where maham was coming so we should not jump on conclusion that she noticed that Jodha was playing holi and walked there intentionally as it befits to defend Jodha. yes it was unintentional, but jalal has to answer the moulavi's also if they ask who has given shahensha the right to hurt other's religious view??he himself want to take part in hindu rituals, want to allow jodha to practice her own religion that's also fine but how he got the right to involve others in it if they are unwilling to do so?? That's why , keeping this particular angle in his mind that he need not has to face any questions on religious liberty given to Jodha he asked her not to hurt others sentiment, not to create problems for others..Yes he has all power to do everything, his words are law but if he starts doing all things as per his wish and does not value other's sentiments who posses an important position in his court, it would trigger a storm in his empire which he doesn't want by any means.
religion is a very sentimental issue. people now a days also loose all sense and logic when it comes to their religion and become evil and all get ready to kill one another on the name of religion.
