(Ruqqaiya was impteintly waiting for jalal...not because she cared for him but only because she was dying to see how jalal willl insult jodha in front of everyone again... ...now shamshuddin and the army was quite visble to her ...she quickly searches for jalal...as he was behind them...at first only jalal's face was visible to her...a wide smile came on her face but what she saw next gave an electric shock to her...as they moved further...she saw jodha...who was also sitting with jalal on the same horse...her anger and jealousy knew no bounds now...she rushed down stairs and reached at the gate...standing at some distance from everyone in the corner...one more person was as worried and tensed as Ruqqaiya...i.e. Mahamanga... she was hell scared and tensed that how will jalal react on Adham's matter...she has to handle everything very smartly...she has to act as if she dint know anything about the attack fiasco...so that not only adham can be saved but her image also remains the same in jalal's eyes... )

(finally jalal and jodha reaches the palace ...jalal gets down and helps jodha to get down too...he was looking really very happy...but someone was way too unhappy seeing them together...jalal holds jodha's hand and place his other hand on her shoulder...they act as if jodha is having problem in walking so jalal helping her...they reach the palace gate...Hamida bano rushes to them...and hugs both jodha and jalal with both of her hands...one hand on jodha's head and other on jalal's...she cries her heart out in happiness... )

Hamida:- khuda ka lakh lakh shukr hai ke tum dono sahi salamat ho...humari to jaan hi nikal gayi thi jab humne suna ke shamshuddin sahib aapko dhund nahi paye...ya parvardigar...teri humesha rehmat rahi hai hum per...tera lakh lakh shukriya jo tune humare bachho ko mehfuz rakha...(she caresses their cheeks and forehead and places a soft kiss on their foreheads one after another...she claps twice to call a bandi...and put off all her jwellary and hands it to her...)

Hamida:- ye lo...ye sare jawahrat garibo me baant do...or praja me kapde aur mithaiya bhi batwayi jaaye...humare bte or bahu ke wapas aane ki khushi me...

(she looks at jodha...her face becomes a bit angry now...she scolds her...)

Hamida:- ye kya pagalpan tha jodha...ese bina kisi ko khabar kiye mehel se bahar jane ka kya mtlab tha...malum bhi hai tumhe hum sab kitne pareshan the tumhare liye...kyu ki tumne ye bewkufi...

Jodha:- hume shama kar dijiye ammi jaan...humne esa jaan bujh ker nahi kiya...samay aur paristhityo ke karan hum behek gaye the...parantu ab hume humari bhul ka ehsas ho gaya hai...aur uske liye hum aapse aur aap sab se haath jodkar shama mangte hai....(she folds her hands and bows down her head with wet eyes...)

(Hamida bano holds her hands...)

Hamida:- betiya maa ke samne hath nahi jodti jodha...aur phir tum to humare liye bakshi bano jaisi hi ho...maafi mankar apni ammi jaan ko sharminda mat karo...bus itna yaad rahe...ke esi galti dobara nahi honi chahiye...vrna hum tumse sachmuch khafa ho jayege...samjhi(she wipes out her tears with her fingers...and jodha gives her a smile...)

Jodha:- ji ammi jaan...hum apko vachan dete hai...esi galti dobara nahi dohrayege...(jalal interrupting in b/w...)

Jalal:- aur agar esi gustakhi phir se hui to hum aapko saza dene se bhi nahi chukege...samjhi...(he smiles...all laughs at this...)

(Suddenly hamida notices the dupatta tied on jalal's shoulder...)

Hamida:- jalal...beta...ye jakhm kaisa ...(worried...she notices jodha's wound too ...She was about to say it when a very abnormal incident happens)

(Ruqqaiya...who was standing in the corner till now... boiling within inside since she had seen jalal and jodha together...terribly jealous and was trying to control her anger continuously...finally got a chance to take all her frustration out...she quickly moved towards jalal...and held his hand...separating jodha from him in a very rude way...everyone was shocked at her unexpected gesture...it looked very awkward the way she came b/w jodha and jalal...even hamida bano was shocked at her behavior...she held jalal's shoulder...with the crocodile tears of jealousy in her eyes...actually she was just looking for a chance to insult jodha in front of everyone)

Ruqqaiya:- ya khuda...jalal aap thik to hai na...aapko nahi pata hum kitna dar gaye the...(she hugs him...jalal doesn't respond to her hug...she breaks the hug...)...aapki fikr me humne do din se kuch khaya bhi nahi...aur ye kya...aapke baaju per ye zakham kaisa...haan...kaise lagi ye chot aapko...

Jalal:- kuch nahi ruqqaiya...bus wo....(but she interrupts him in b/w)

Ruqqaiya:- kuch kehne ki zarurat nahi hai jalal...hum samajh gaye...(she looks at jodha with utmost hatred in her eyes...moves towards her and pushes her behind...everyone was way too shocked to see ruqqaiya like that...jalal's eyes get filled with rage...but he tries to control it...Ruqqaiya finally bursts on jodha)

Ruqqaiya:- samjhti kya ho tum apne apko haan...akhir chahti kya ho tum...jab se is mehel me aayi ho...sabka jina dushwar karke rakha hai...hume pura yakin hai ke jalal ko ye chot tumhari wajah se hi lagi hogi...humne to mana kiya tha inhe lekin pata nhi phir bhi kyu jalal tumhe bachane chale gaye...mar jati to jyada acha hota...tum picha kyu nahi chor deti jalal ka...haan...

(jalal's anger was reaching its limits...but still he was controlling it...he was waiting for ruqqaiya to realize about her mistake herself...but she wasn't...she was in her own world...a world full of hatred, jealousy, disgust...she was burning inside and was trying to make jodha feel the same pain too...she continued)

Ruqqaiya:- tum jaisi begairat, namurad, gustakh ladki ki to is mehel me koi jagah hi nahi honi chahiye...tum hoti kaun ho shenshah per hukum chalane wali...aukat kya hai tumhari...badzaat kahin ki...aaj hum tumhe esa sabak sikhayege ke dobara esi harkat karna to dur sochne ki bhi himmat nahi karogi...tum kya samjhti ho...ke ye sab giri hui harkate karke tum jalal ko apni taraf kar paogi...humari...begum e khaas ki barabari karna chahti ho tum...aaj tumhare saare armano ko khaak me na mila diya to humara naam bhi ruqqaiya sultaan nahi...aaj esa hasher karege tumhara ke jalal ke aas- paas fatkane se bhi khauf khaogi...(and she raises her hand to slap jodha...)

(But here comes jalal... in b/w and stops her hand in mid...he looks at jodha...tears were flowing continuously from her eyes...she has bowed her head down...crying silently...this makes jalal's anger to go out of limit...his face has become red with anger now...he held ruqqaiya's hand very tightly...and pressed it harshly...she mourns in pain)

Ruqqaiya:- ahhh...kya kar rahe hai aap jalal, hume dard ho raha hai...

Jalal:- (his eyes are burning...almost red with anger...he looks at ruqqaiya with utmost disgust...) dard ho raha hai aapko ruqqaiya begum...haan??...dard ho raha hai aapko...aur us dard ka kya jo aap dusro ko pahuchati hai apni badzabaani se...

Ruqqaiya:- jalal...(amazed)

Jalal:- khamoooshhh gustakh....(shouts loudly than ever...and jerks off her hand...she is way too shocked...)...aapki himmat kaise hui jodha begum se is tarah baat karne ki...bina jaane un per ilzam lagane ki gustakhi kaise ki aapne...aapko koi haq nahi hai unse is tarah baat karne ka...yakin nahi hota hume ke aap humari wohi bachpan ki dost ruqqaiya hai,jo humare kehne se pehle hi humare man ki baat samajh jaya karti thi...kyuki is waqt jo humare samne khadi hai... wo sirf or sirf ek magrur begum hai jise shenshah ki khaas hone ka kuch jyada hi ghamand ho gaya hai...humne apko ucha darza diya hai apni zindagi me... iska ye matlab nahi hai ke aap kisi se badtameezi karegi...samjhi aap...

Ruqqaiya(way too shocked and amazed at jalal's behavior ):- jalal...aap...is mamuli begum ke liye hum per chikh rahe hai...kya ho gaya hai apko...kya jaadu kar diya hai isne aap per...is do take ki ladki...

Jalal:- (interrupting her...shouts) bus ...ek aur lafz nahi ruqqaiya begum...ek aur lafz nahi...warna humse bura koi nahi hoga aapke liye...aur aap janna chahti hai na ke kya haisiyat hai inki ...is mehel me ...humari zindagi me...to suniye...aaj se...balki abhi se jodha begum ka auda humari nazro me sabse upper ho gaya hai...kyuki aaj inhone humare liye wo kiya hai jo aapne bhi kabhi nahi kiya...badi ammi ke baad ye dusri esi shaks hai jinhone bina apni jaan ki parvah kiye...humari jaan bachayi...aur agar ye chahti to aapki badtameezi ka karara jawab de sakti thi aapko...magar inhone humara, ammijaan ka aur mogul saltanat ki izzat ko dhyaan me rakha...aur bina kuch kahe aapki sari betuki baate sunti rahi...kisi ko bhi inse badsaluki karne ka haq nahi hai...aapko bhi nahi...samjhi aap...aainda is baat ko dhyaan me rakhiyega....(he shows his finger to ruqqaiya...warning her...ruqqaiya...unable to hold her anger anymore...faces away...and starts moving...jalal stops her...)

Jalal:- rukiye ruqqaiya begum...kaha jaa rahi hai aap...maafi kaun mangega aapki jahiliyat ke liye...(she turns with a jerk...looks at jalal with disgust...)

Jalal:- aapne suna nahi humne kya kaha...maafi mangiye jodha begum se...abhi aur isi waqt...

Ruqqaiya:- aap hosh me to hai jalal...hum aur maafi mangege...wo bhi is mamuli begum se...kabhi nahi...

Jalal:- humare sabr ka aur imtehaan mat lijiye ruqqaiya begum...kahin esa na ho ke hum aapke sath koi anarth kar baithe...humne kaha maafi mangiye...aur wo bhi sabke samne ...abhi aur isi waqt...maangiye maafi...(shouts loudly than ever...now ruqqaiya gets a bit scared...she bows her head down...and finally speaks unwillingly...)

Ruqqiaya:- maaf kar dijiye hume...(in a very low voice)

Jalal:- kya kaha aapne...hume sunayi nahi diya...kya hua...badzubaani karne ke liye to badi tez avaz nikal rahi thi...ab kya ho gaya aapki buland avaz ko...tarike se...jodha begum ki taraf dekhker...unse aankhen milaker maafi mangiye...jis tarah unse badtammezi karte waqt kiya tha aapne...aur haan is baar avaz itni tez honi chahiye ke yaha per maujud har shakas ke kano tak pahuch sake...mangiye maafi...

(Ruqqaiya was really pissed off now...she clenches her fist in anger...and finally after much difficulty looks at jodha...her eyes red with anger...she has never felt so helpless before...all the other begums were enjoying her insult in front of everyone to the core...she notices it and her anger reaches to its limit...but she controls it...as there is no way left for her...she looks in jodha's eyes...and speaks unwillingly with her eyes red in anger...)

Ruqqaiya:- maaf kar dijiyehume jodha begum...aainda aapse baat karne se pehle tamiz aur tahzeeb ka khayal rakhege hum...

Jalal:- achi baat hai...agli baar jodha begum ko kuch bhi bolne se pehle hazaar baar soch lijiyega...warna agli baar aapki ye gustakhi maaf nahi ki jayegi...ab dur ho jayiye humari nazro se...(shouts)

(Ruqqaiya...unable to bear more insult of her...looks with utmost disgust at jalal...and runs away from there)
