aah! finally i could watch the 2nd part of today's episode!
The not - so good episodes are easily uploaded but the good ones always take time! grrh! 😡

Chalo off to the episode, your english translated versions are interesting to read!😛 My urdu is not top notch so if any word i don't get it, your post helps me out!

So glad the precap was indeed Jodha's nightmare, I couldn't bear to see Jalal digging a deeper hole by arresting Jodha's bapusa!

Finally, as hoped Ruqaiya put the wheels in motion for the investigation! My suspect is on Reshma now...but that's no longer a priority!

J & J were a treat to watch! Poor thing Jodha is really tormented and worried about her bapusa while Jalal is at his evil best. He couldn't resist to inform Jodha about the bad news, waging war on Sujanpur! Even though he has a genuine political reason to do so but he makes every effort to show Jodha this is his means to revenge! What i didn't like was Jodha did not deny the accusation of killing his unborn child but brought up 'innocent until proven guilty'...why can't she just say she is innocent??!!

Jodha had the fear that after making her bapusa a Mansabdar, Jalal would ask him to support him in a war against other rajputs. But when did she know it would be her younger sister's marriage alliance!

MA rightfully said there is a very fine line between hate and love and both these feelings come from one's heart. Today Jalal loves to hurt Jodha, the tears in her eyes brings him solace but soon those very tears will hurt him bitterly!

Raja Bharmal is caught in devil & the deep sea situation, one side is Jodha who is married off to Mughal emperor Jalal and on other side is his younger daughter who got an alliance after 17 rejections! Tough call for Raja Bharmal!

Lashy as you pointed out, we haven't seen Jalal aka RT in a war sequence......will be fun!

CVs have once again proved they know what they are doing! 👍🏼

The war will go for one week atleast and then next week we may catch the culprit...

The cvs deserve credit for this.. war sujanpur connection.. extremely well thought out.

Jalal might be doing Sukanya a favor..? I feel that he may marry her to some prominent person (a rajput?)in the court.. or some other ally..

I was thinking of Sujamal and his relationship with jodha.. then it struck me they are first cousins..

...Like rukayya and Jalal and salima... they should share the same kind of bonding 🤣

Omg we randomly want to get people married off...the 'Indian gene' in us...Sujamal and Sukanya...baap re...😆

Waise Alakh ye di ka kyaa chakkar hai yaar...I feel like I'm chatting with someone else now

Ooo Never would I have thought that there'd be a day when my urdu-english translations would ever help others out😆 I should tell my hindi-speaking friends this...who constantly tease my poor non-hindi speaking self..😆

We're all waiting for the day...we never got to see a good romantic culmination in PRC and the whole thing was botched in DV...I hope hope we get to see one here...

Do I dare post in your thread Lashy...😆

I don't know about this war or the justifications for it...YOU have asked me to start looking at the drama purely through 16th century eyes...so would an emperor have just picked up and gone to war after one person coming and complaining to him with just his word that this King and Rattan Singh are aiding and abetting outlaws...??? (I think outlaws or goons is the right interpretation, correct me if I"m wrong)

So if you don't delve into it deeper than the simple justification that Jalal is emotional right now and just needs anything to which to grasp to ... then I guess it makes sense that he is going to war with absolutely no verification or more proof other than this mans word...

Would have been more believable for me personally if Jalal had sent someone off, like Sharifu, to report back to him on the situation after scouting it out...but of course because of the emotional angle he just dives right it...

So essentially what I got from today's epi - is that with just one mans' word, the great emperor, picks up his sword and goes to attack another kingdom.

If that's not emotional than I"m not sure I know the meaning of the word...

On another note : IF, and only IF Jalal had tried to present the situation purely on fact, i believe Jodha would have agreed to his reasons for going against Sukhanya's to be in laws...Of course she doesn't want her sister married to a villain...BUT his presentation is purely to inflict pain on her, so I hope no one can object to the way she views the situation because his delivery of the facts is so tainted. Same goes for Bharmal - Jalal's presentation is just to inflict emotional pain...not to actually get a seasoned and reasonable decision. This whole debate on who Bharmal would choice to side with would be out the door, if Bharmal was presented with the facts in an unbiased manner. All Jalal has to say is - do you want Sukhanya aligned in marriage to someone who pillages, rapes and murders the poor and aides goons/outlaws...

Ahh - when will Jalal get back his voice of reason...

Absolutely beautiful take on the whole: the parts in blue are ever better than the rest.

As for the deewanapan you are talking about, that too will come, when nothing and nobody will count for each but the other (to see Jodha finally putting someone ahead of her beloved Amer, that will be the day!😉)

i loved their scene...these two are amazing actors...there was every possible emotion in it...

poor jodha ,exhausted ,scared, emotionally drained...she is on verge of mental breakdown with all those nightmares

jalal will not see reason untill he finds solace and he can find solace only when the culprit is punished...but his obsession for jodha continues...hurt her coz he is hurt, break her coz he is broken ...i am waiting for the day when his love for her will be a madness like this and it sure will be..coz with jodha his emotions are extreme...

how jodha forgives him is another story ...how will these scars heal is another story and i really hope the team takes it sweet time in letting it heal ...they both are emotionally destroyed ..they need to resurrect their own self and each other ...the hurt he causes her is the hurt he feels...hence only he can heal her and she can heal him ...

Ah, Janhvi, you forget the javaisa syndrome. All Jalal will have to say is Aap hamari jagah par hote, aut saboot mere khilaaf aise hi hote, to aap kya karte? And they will all bob their heads in complete understanding, and he will not even have to apologise. After all, Mansingh accepted as much, without Jalal saying even this much.

No, Jalal had better focus on getting around Jodha, and rehearse the lines I have drafted for him. His memory for the spoken word is phenomenal - he pronounces every unfamiliar word in Jodha's poem flawlessly after hearing it read out only once, and that in a dead monotone by Ruqaiya - so I can depend on him not to muff my beautiful lines!😉

Kudos on your post, evocative but on that last sentence, it sounds ideal but not sure how that can happen.

Jodha may in time be able to heal Jalal's hurt at the loss of a waaris by giving him one. On the other hand, how will he assuage the grief he has put her family through even if she may very well be willing to forgive him readily for the personal humiliation she has been subjected to at his hands?

But he does not want it back as yet, Sonya. Otherwise, I agree with you in toto.
