Thank you shyamala aunty for the encouragement for the blooper thread...i would be all ready with anything tht goes out of the way ...

Right now , iam at peace n enjoying myself thoroughly , the only expectation of mine is from the C.V's ... as i have mentioned it earlier too tht the cast for the series is very talented and mature in terms of delivering just the right .

My personal itch is with the C.V's as they have time n again proved me n my dear friend mansi wrong, i don't know i still cannot give up predicting ( i think i should contact shaguni bai , n check if she needs an assistant , who would elaborate on her bhavishyavani , n apply for tht post).

They have been very careful this time too , because they knew if they did not implicate jodha correctly or with the help of the evidence , they would have a divided audience n then the love story track would not have the same effect with JA coming together , so they chose to play the game via evidence. now we all are supporting jalal , so RT's hard work is appreciated by one and all n when JA would come together , it would be even more wonderful to blame a third person for the ill situation.

And yet again C.V's had to keep the track intresting so they chose to focus on the mystery to keep the culprit hidden n may be continue to do so till the end of this track, but wat i or any viewer would want ( as i said in mansi's post too) an equally clear n definite end of this track, with the culprit being caught . If jodha has to go through all the humiliation n torture , then she very much deserves justice ( not like moti bai, poor thing was left hanging... with no justice) ...
because someone's( rather jalal's) empathy would not compensate for the insult she would go through, her honour n self respect has to be restored rightly.

Cheers
Kashi

Excellent post, Auntyji. TY for sharing your thoughts. As for Jodha - I, personally, am not willing to over-think it. More than likely, it'll be a very simple resolution. Just like in Motibai's case. I remember when she'd gotten the death sentence, the whole forum was in uproar, thinking 'what? and how?' she would get free. And what happened? Oh nothing much - Jodha presented her 'shahifarmaan' and all was well. 😳
Don't worry fellow 'forumers', Jodha will be just fine. 🤗

Thank you, my dear, for such a beautiful and perceptive response, and of course also for liking my post.

I am so glad that someone besides me appreciates the quality of the acting yesterday by both Rajat and Ashwini, Remember the look on her face as she tells Jalal that fathers too are eager and restless about the arrival of their child? It was a delightful expression. At that moment, Mahaam was being quite genuine.

Yes, Jalal II is still there, but my dear, how can he 'see reason' just like that? One cannot go by instinct in such a serious charge, and he cannot, as I wrote to Mansi above, just let her go free because of his personal conviction of her innocence, nor can he send her back to Amer. In her own interest, it is not, as I told Mansi, enough for Jodha to be let off. She has to be clearly exonerated.

Shyamala

i agree with you and i was speaking about the moment in the precap that is if jalal does not see some reasoning ,jodha will not see the light of the day...

and yes this time her talks and reasoning will not get her acquitted because this is a crime not some mirchi episode ...hence capital punishment is the only way unless proven innocent based on hard evidence...jalal cannot let her free based on his perception ,that would be inviting the wrath of the entire mughal sultanat and ruqaiyya the mother has appealed to the Emperor for justice ,so this time he has to deliver it...catch the guilty and punish the same...and all the proof at present point to jodha sadly...i am even unable to fathom how will she get out of this mess clearing her name and proving her innocence before one and all..she has to coz the accusation itself is heinous that would break her ...

but sadly if it is MA..then for sure another innocent will be the scapegoat like all previous scenarios

Thank you very much, dear Pallavi, and I am pleased that you too appreciated the excellent acting by Rajat yesterday and are not only concerned about Jodha's plight.

I do hope it is to be Mansingh's day in the sun. He repeats every now and then that he is there to take care of his buasa, and now is his chance to do precisely that.

Thank you aunty for your lovely post as it really helps to clear many doubts and also for highlighting the most vital point that puts jalal aka Rajat's superb acting skill in high.. He was very convincing as a distraught father,no doubt, Maham anga's empathy was also bit to bit convincing.. Ruqaiyaa's happiness while jalal was tending her was also genuinly of an upcoming motherhood..And also her grief after losing her baby was genuine, for the first time she behaved like a true mother and not like a power hungry selfish woman..
your comparison between jalal 1 and jalal 2 is very intense and I agree with every point of it..

As for why hamida bano did not come to pacify jalal, well aunty though ruqaiyaa screamed but I think none heared it, It might be hosiyaar who informed only jalal and maham anga and maham anga summoned the khwaja sera ,otherwise Jodha at least would have come to see what happened, and the news did not reach to everyone till then..

Now lets see who is the culprit and if mansingh this time be the savior of jodha, then how he performs his task..

Ela dear, it is one thing not to like Ruqaiya - I do not like her myself - but where does the unfaithful husband angle come in? Jalal is not an eka patni vrat like Lord Rama, you know, and in fact it is Ruqaiya who has been married to him for ages and thus has the first claim on him,not Jodha.

Why should he not be delighted that Ruqaiya and he are going to have a child? Even if he had been having normal marital relations with Jodha, this accusation would not apply in those days. Maharana Udai Singh's two eldest sons, Pratap and Shakti, were only weeks apart in age.

Another thing which I didn't like abt episode is Jalal's closeness with Ruku...I gives me an uneasy feeling...His show of concern and happiness for being father of Rukaiya's child...I know I should be logical and all that but I can't...

It makes Jalal look like an unfaithful husband or a two timing one in my mind...

One more thing that gives away that Maham did all this...When she drank that kesar milk...She would not haver done this if her hand was not in it...She was trying to prove her loyalty towards Jalal...

Jalal I & Jalal II: Even in depths of such overwhelming grief, Jalal balances the distraught father on the one hand, and the Shahenshah as the impartial dispenser of justice on the other, to perfection. Despite the apparently watertight case against Jodha, he does not accept it at once, but threatens the Khwaja with death if she proves to be wrong.

But she is unshaken, and the case against Jodha is not merely a circumstantial one, be it noted, but one backed by solid evidence (that is to say, evidence that has been carefully tweaked to seem so to even the most skeptical judge). There is the dature ka ark in the kesar from Amer, plus the Khwaja's assertion that it is not found in the Mughal dominions but only in the dry areas adjoining its borders, and that only expert hakims from the old royal families know how to extract and prepare it from the datura. Then the smell of datura on Ruqaiya's breath and traces of it in the blood that has seeped out of her body. And finally Mahaam Anga's genuine swooning act; they show her surroundings going out of focus in her eyes as she sways; naturally, for the dature ka ark in the kesar is real.

One can almost see two Jalals struggling within him for domination within him. There is Jalal I, whose insensate rage against the woman who seems to have killed his child threatens to sweep all before it in a mad, murderous rush. Then there is Jalal II, who cannot accept the awful possibility that this selfsame woman, in whose goodness he had placed his trust, the woman whom he had begun to admire and respect almost despite himself, could have so betrayed that trust and perpetrated this vile deed. It is this idea of the pristine image he now has of Jodha being lost and degraded that hurts him almost as much as the loss of his child.

Still, Jalal does not rush to judgment and charge off to Jodha's rooms to punish her. He goes to Ruqaiya's and tries to soothe her and get her to act rationally and soberly, for Jalal II is struggling still within him to find a way out for Jodha. His inner sense tells him one thing, and the evidence another, but the inner voice is not strong enough to overcome the pitiless logic of Ruqiaya's demand for justice against Jodha, who she genuinely believes is a devious murderess. Thus we arrive at the precap, a cliffhanger if ever there was one.

What eloquent language...how beautifully stated...I loved reading it...and I especially loved how you've split the personality of Jalal into two segments as above...a beautiful and thoroughly enjoyable read...

Dear Vanilla-e-Mint,
Seeking permission to digress from the Mughlia Sultanat and focus on that farm-fresh youth named Rajat Tokas.

I agree with you hundred percent, that last night his break down as a father losing his unborn was a superlative effort. A true Thespian there. And yes he showed a maturity in that scene that is way beyond his years. You mention he had nothing, no personal experience to fall back on... I believe many actors, even if they did have a similar life event (God forbid) to draw the emotions from, would still be incapable of delivering the way Rajat did in front of the camera. I guess this boy has a lot of angst in him as an actor and an individual. And he is channelizing all of it into his Portrayal of Jalal. Rajat was always a sensitive actor. That is probably why we remember the adolescent who stole the Nation's heart with his two period dramas. Unfortunately the his screen persona became so dominant that later on he failed to create a similat impact with any other role, He even tried to break the mould with taking on negative characters yet nothing could erase Prithviraj from the minds of his viewers.
At the same time, Other actors of Prithviraj's Band and later Vikrant Massey from DharamVeer made it successfully as lead actors in Teleland. Rajat couldnt.

But am I glad destiny made him wait 😃

For it takes one historical great to outdo the other. And Prithviraj to Akbar has been his calling.
I'm sure Shaguni bai had a hand in all of it 😉

But coming back to Rajat, its no mean feat to make today's India accept any other as Akbar other than Hrithwik. Rajat is succeeding in that. Which is a huge feat.

Getting back to Agra, I have a few theories re Mahamanga's migraine and Jodha's Soux pastry hairstyle that ties neatly with the who dunnit we are persuing right now.

But will have to write on thst later, if you give permission that is.

Love
Moontide😊

Give you permission? You've got to be kidding! Behold me awaiting your next dollop of literary ambrosia with bated breath.

Yes, and I am with you about Rajat. He is clearly Destiny's child. This is the first time I am seeing him and he quite bowled me over.
