Thats why the death rate amongst royal princes and princesses due to genetic abnormalities is so high - they used to inter-wed a LOT!

yes you are correct with it...so am guessing he never had any commoner as his wife...however in many films based on Royals, we get love story of king/queen wth commoner unlike the real kings/queens

, 2. hasan and hussain (arguably) 1564 died within a month

Harkha- 3. Jahengir 1569 he suceeded akbar

Salima- 4. daughter khanum 1569 ( though some historian believe she was born from a slave girl)

5 prince murad 1570 -1599) he died in adolsocene

Other secondary wives - 6. Nisa begam around 1569-15670 some believe khanum and nisa begum were same...died in 1653

7. Prince Daniyal 1572 (Akbar was fond of daniyal he died at young age deadth was huge blow for him)

8. Aaram Aaru begam also known as Aaram Aara child of bibi daulat sabhib,...the youngest and the clear favourite child of Akbar 😳

so he had many kids who made him proud father but he had only one kid from Jodha/Harkha...so now Ruku is being shown pregnant wth Fatima who will die due to miscarriage then ruku will again become pregnant and after 5 yrs than tht Jodha will become pregnant...it meant Akdha took plenty of time to develop soft feelings for each other and for their consummation was late...

I know he really adored one girl ( a dancer) and JOdha's maid was jealous and caused Jodha's jewelries to get lost and blamed the poor dancer who in turn disappeared for good as Jalal had ordered for her death or something!

But no marriage occurred there! but he was extremely taken by her!

Jalal was taken aback by Jodha's beauty! not her bravery initially! this was shown in the movie, and in the show itself! so this guy had a thing for beautiful women indeed!😳 In reference to the dancer, it was said that, her last dance was so beautiful that it made Akbar sad that she had to go! He was furious with her as he believed she was a thief thanks to Hira Bai's moronic maid😆
