gave birth to a daughter known as fatima but she died in infancy few years laters she gave birth to twins hasan and hussain but they too died and then salim was born after 8 years of marriage with jodha ...frim salima he had two children a daughter i think her name was khanum and a prince murad

Raquia - 1.fatima (1561-62) she died in infancy

, 2. hasan and hussain (arguably) 1564 died within a month

Harkha- 3. Jahengir 1569 he suceeded akbar

Salima- 4. daughter khanum 1569 ( though some historian believe she was born from a slave girl)

5 prince murad 1570 -1599) he died in adolsocene

Other secondary wives - 6. Nisa begam around 1569-15670 some believe khanum and nisa begum were same...died in 1653

7. Prince Daniyal 1572 (Akbar was fond of daniyal he died at young age deadth was huge blow for him)

8. Aaram Aaru begam also known as Aaram Aara child of bibi daulat sabhib,...the youngest and the clear favourite child of Akbar 😳

There are also references to a daughter called Mehr-un-nissa, who is said to have married Tansen.

But the most curious thing is that with so many principal queens and so many lesser wives, he had so few children. He should, by any normal standards, have had dozens of kids. He was probably never around long enough, for the Mughal empire was expanded 3 fold during his reign and he was eternally campaigning somewhere or the other while his queens were stuck in Agra.

Seeing the harem squabbles over him, which are very likely to be authentic, he might also have preferred to away as much as possible!
