I dare say you are right about the upfront part! Sigh.

Well, you too seem, like Rose, to have been dozing thru the last but one episode!šŸ˜‰

That chap is a goatherd, who is murdered by Mahaam Anga's sidekick Resham and the letter planted on his corpse. Whence my first Question of the Day!

Shyamala you were missed...Hope ur eyesight is well...

I think Jalal is not going to punish Moti , instead he is going to play smart and make Maham confess that Adham was indeed present at that time and chasing Moti...He can do that by blaming Adham for commiting a even greater crime in Mathura than entering Harem,, and it could make Maham panic and confess the truth...Its my guess.

Yes I also feel that Jodha should not have bowed down to Maham and asked her why she is causing her pain...It doesnt suit the wife of shahenshah...another thing I didnt like was Maham dismissing Jodha's daasis ...That was insulting...Jodha shows selfrespect only to Jalal...baki sabke saamne toh bheegi billi hai...

Jodha also should not have left Moti with MA alsone...

Regarding letter I have nothing to say as it is plain stupidity on directors part...

Jalal is not going to accept farman and I dont think he will send her to Amer quietly...I think things are going to come out in the open and MA will be given stern warning...

I think this time Resham is going to be axed...

I like this scenario, Ela, it is clever and plausible. I hope it come thru. I agree completely about Jodha. I noted the bit about the dasis as well. They should have looked at Jodha for her consent before leaving, but I suppose that after the Moti affair, they are all petrified of anyone and everyone Mughal.

My eye is not ok yet,,but it is less red and that is something. I have been told firmly: NO late nights and as much rest as possible for the eye. Whence this late afternoon venture; I just could not stay away from you folks!

Plus I have my brother visiting sans his laptop, so mine will be commandeered as and when he needs it! He hates working on small mobile screens, alas!

Shyamala:
Not sure how to fit my answer within your three options of the quiz, but here's my take:
I think this whole MotiBai issue will be solved by Jalal himself via some private jasoossi ... he has reason to distrust Adam from past experience and also to believe Moti as she has even taken a kasam on Jodha's head in front of him.
Jalal already knows Jodha's penchant for the right (a la the Abdul issue at Amer when she quoted the right to her father), so Jalal has every reason to trust Moti/Jodha and distrust Adam Maham (a la the Bairam Khan murder issue in which they have already been named by Salima).
I don't think Jalal needs to do a Mughal-e-Azam with Moti and the wall, but I do feel he has deliberately chosen this method of punishing her in order to buy time. he has suspicions about Adam that he perhaps wants to privately investigate despite hearing that Adam was in Mathura. So he probably has chosen the wall-building route to punishment as that may take the most time to execute and in that time he gets he probably feels he can save Moti.
Regarding the farman throwing promo and precap, I feel he does it because the farman is irrelevant ... he has already solved the Adam-Moti issue perhaps so the farman becomes irrelevant and Jodha has no real use for it. The promo/precap is a red herring for viewers, I feel.
Waise, I loved the way he seems desperate enough to want to save Moti, give her a second chance, ask her for her last wish himself ... it looks to me like he has for the moment juxtaposed Moti on his image of Jodha and feels as if saving Moti is almost like saving Jodha?

Option 3 is my choice. Reasoning is that Adham will get killed later for a different crime, not this one. I feel he is not going to get proven guilty this time and also feel Moti will NOT die.

Regarding exposure of Adam, I have a feeling his dumb wife may have something to do with it. If I remember right, there was a tiny shot of her waking in the night to find Adam missing from the bed (on the night of the Moti saga). I wouldn't put it past this idiot girl to tell jalal she has no clue where her husband disappeared that night after he was sleeping with her in her bed. That should tell Jalal that Adam was very much in Agra that day.

Mansi.

I would buy all of this; as I wrote, I too felt that Jalal is not at all satisfied with the present outcome, but he has no choice given the way the dice fall. Plus Moti does not even explain that Adham Khan was wrapped up in her chunari, in which he looks like an over large Khwaja (eunuch), which is how he sneaked in.

But for the point about buying time with this method; that won't hold. He insists that it be done the same day, and goes to ask for her last wish. I am just not sure, except of one thing, that Moti will be saved.

As for the precap being a red herring, from past experience, I am sadly sure of it!

Yes, Jalal would see saving Moti as tantamount to saving Jodha, for he listens to Jodha saying to Moti that if anything happened to her, she would never be able to forgive herself, so it was a question of her own life as well

I do wish Jodha., however miserable she was, had stood up to Mahaam Anga and had not asked her that pleading question. It was pointless and demeaning.

Dear Shyamala Aunty,

Yippie you are back!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How are you ?? Take care and feeling better!!!!!!!!!

1) Will Jalal do a Mughal-e-Azam and rescue Motibai by stealth?
well maybe i think he will do it

2) Will Jalal ascertain thru his own sources that Adham Khan is guilty or, on a different tack, that the dead man in the kitchen was not known to Motibai, and thus set aside her sentence?

he can find out about the truth while poor moti is being chunofied in the wall and then maybe he will stop it

3) Will Jalal simply honour his shahi firman, despite his initial rebuff to Jodha in the heat of anger?
i think this might happen but it will be too thanda. since now so much drama is created for this issue i expect more fireworks

(a) When will Jodha will get to know of this? definately not immediately.. she will complain to kanha as usual about her kroor pati. but then when she sees alive moti she will know obviously...hehehehehhe

(b) When she does how will it affect her relationship with Jalal

yes this will definately affect their relationship positively. yeah she will not swoon after him but she will complain less to kanha about him!!!!

Yes indeed many stupid scenes were included. the letter thing plus if the messanger can reach and comeback from mathura in ne day why cant adham???

i thought in this issue Ruqqu wasnt in her form. she is the empress. and some man broke HER harem's rules. instead of taking some action against him she was busy scheming for her benefit and then keeping mum about it. this is cv's fault. they shouldnt make ruqqu a vamp. she was the best empress in the mughal empire is what histry says!

Hmmm ... yes, your point about building the wall the same day escaped my notice.
