Shyamala:
Not sure how to fit my answer within your three options of the quiz, but here's my take:
I think this whole MotiBai issue will be solved by Jalal himself via some private jasoossi ... he has reason to distrust Adam from past experience and also to believe Moti as she has even taken a kasam on Jodha's head in front of him.
Jalal already knows Jodha's penchant for the right (a la the Abdul issue at Amer when she quoted the right to her father), so Jalal has every reason to trust Moti/Jodha and distrust Adam Maham (a la the Bairam Khan murder issue in which they have already been named by Salima).
I don't think Jalal needs to do a Mughal-e-Azam with Moti and the wall, but I do feel he has deliberately chosen this method of punishing her in order to buy time. he has suspicions about Adam that he perhaps wants to privately investigate despite hearing that Adam was in Mathura. So he probably has chosen the wall-building route to punishment as that may take the most time to execute and in that time he gets he probably feels he can save Moti.
Regarding the farman throwing promo and precap, I feel he does it because the farman is irrelevant ... he has already solved the Adam-Moti issue perhaps so the farman becomes irrelevant and Jodha has no real use for it. The promo/precap is a red herring for viewers, I feel.
Waise, I loved the way he seems desperate enough to want to save Moti, give her a second chance, ask her for her last wish himself ... it looks to me like he has for the moment juxtaposed Moti on his image of Jodha and feels as if saving Moti is almost like saving Jodha?
