normally only a husband can call her wife begum

but generally begum was the word for respect use with name

wow Great idea, Sara, even I too sometimes have trouble understanding the Urdu dialogues in Jodha akbar but thanks to the English subtitle that I get here, so can get what they r saying. Even if I have any trouble then surely will ask you here. Btw Rajat is very good in Urdu.
