this is not a book for money..these books are so delicate to talk about..we are not so enuff to talk about. ๐Ÿ˜ณ . and Mytho is nothing but pure science ,Spirits are nothing but an enery.. a soul is an energy.. so incarnations are nothing but a spirit decides where and how will he take another.
so I am going to spiritualism which is pure science.. for that u should study stephen hawkings book.. there you will find everything with proof (: and its not about money.. there is lot more rather than money (:

I believe in spiritualism and reincarnation. I haven't read the book but I don't believe very easily. Prithvi born as akbar somehow comes as an insult.. Imo

But one thing for sure Akbar married amber princess after Ruqaiyaa and salima . She must have given birth of Jahangir. The marium-uz-zamani palace has a temple inbuilt.she was the mother of Jahangir as said by him , so definitely she was hindu.. The confusion arises because on one hand akbar bestowed many things on her like seperate palace, kitchen, temple. On the other hand he told that he felt guilt for marrying many times after ruqaiyaa.. In those days polygamy was a natural matter but for Ruqaiyaa he proposed monogamy..Really a big step for a king.. Again he gave marium/harkha/ whoever be the right to issue farman(official order). so Akbar is a mistry .That's why poeple still after the truth of his personal life and interests it.

This all I have summed up after visiting so many posts and reading many documents. specially I visited fatehpur sikri.so I can say this all are true..rest I don't know..๐Ÿ˜Š

I have not read all the posts in this thread, so may be this information is already present in the thread ๐Ÿ˜Š but still can't stop myself to give my two cents. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Regarding Akbar's preference to Monogamy, it was an influence of the Christian missionaries with whom Akbar first came into contact in 1580. Akbar was greatly moved by different Christian doctrines and the priests openly condemned the emperor of having licentious relationship with many women.

Abul Fazl wrote Akbar's biography and there is section "Happy Sayings" where emperors remarks on different subjects are given. On one occasion, Akbar said -

"To seek more than one wife is to work one's own undoing. In case she were barren or bore no son, it might then be exepedient"

"Had I been wiser earlier, I would have taken no woman from my own kingdom into my seraglio, for my subjects are to me the place of children"
(Ain vol. 3)

Now question is - why did Akbar regret of having more than one wife? Why did he feel that marrying more than once "is one's own undoing" ?

Is it possible that he suffered from any kind of health problems for leading a polygamous life and having physical relationship with hundreds of women?๐Ÿ˜•

Or is it because he felt guilty for not being loyal to Ruku and has hurt her in some way or other?

I found the second reason a bit weird because it is highly improbable that Ruqaiya begum would have ever showed her grievances for Akbar's polygamous life. Ruqaiya begum had been brought up in 16th century society where polygamy among men were very common and in royal families, the women were conditioned from their childhood that they have to share their husband and their rights with other queens.

In fact, Ruqaiya begum must have thanked her stars that among the many wives, Akbar gave so much importance to her throughout his life.

Still, Akbar felt guilty ? Is it the influence of Jesuit priest who strongly advocated monogamy? โ“

Or is it because Akbar was indeed got entangled in a emotional relationship with some other wife other than Ruquaiya and somehow he had felt the tension or the tussle when a person loves two or more persons at the same time? It is impossible that Akbar had "loved" all his wives equally or felt emotional attachment with all of them. ๐Ÿค” But problems are bound to arise when a person has same kind of romantic feelings for two persons, wants to make them happy, needs both of them badly not only to satiate lust but as a emotional support, both the person wants to exercise their right, and down the line, none of the three parties are fully satisfied with the relationship in the long run. Only Akbar knew the truth!

In his later years, he indeed restricted his life mainly with one of his wives as described by English traveller Grimon and distributed many of his women in his harem to his nobles.

Phew -... enough of my rant. ๐Ÿ˜†But definitely, Akbar's declaration for monogamy cannot be just love for Ruku. He had been far more complicated character than we assume.

Prithvi was captured by an afghan, I'd rather believe he was reborn as Maharana pratap. Plus, prithvi wouldn't have appreciated being born as akbar. There is a huge difference between the two.

@doyel Akbar was far ahead of his time in his thinking. Way too modern. Why in today's time do we think that polygamy is wrong?

Do you really find difference.. ovsly if a body changes. he comes with new Gunas( among the three gunas of life that are (Satwa,Raja,Tama) A Man who is born.. are with these 3 gunas inside himself.. in different ratios and it differs from man to man.

When Prithviraj was born before 300 yrs of Akbar... then he had different gunas.. and Man comes with gunas. from his Sanskars( deeds of last life) That is law of karma which is of 4 types.. and that is another book ๐Ÿ˜Š. so leave that.. so with those 4 types of karmas.. which man has to pay for is Adrid karma. which u have to pay for.

so with those karmas man is born then how can he be like what he was before. and apart from all these .. Prithvi was somehow equal as Akbar. Akbar loved Hindus.. and If Prithvi was kidnapped by an Afhgan then.. that doesn't mean man cannot be born as a mughal . ( not justified)

and if he was kidnapped by an Afhghan then it makes strong the point that he must have been the reincarnation as he proved mughals as a good empire by being there King. As he was the key of being together of Hindus and Muslims (:

True! Akbar was way ahead of his time! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Polygamy is considered to be wrong because in such a situation, a woman has to share her rights with other women. A man might give comfortable life to all his wives but what about the emotional attachment and feelings? Is it possible to love all the women equally or make them feel equally important? ๐Ÿ˜• Somewhere in the long run, one party will definitely feel secondary in this kind of relationship.

Same problem will be in polyandry.

Moreover, physical relationship with too many partners can lead to health problems. ๐Ÿ˜‰
