its really frustating you dnt knw what exactly was...was it really a love story or not.

True that he has above 5000 women in his Harem .. but there was a strong reason behind it..
It is that when Mughals Had started ruling in India... Women were not at all safe. They were behaving too badly with Women , they were not safe out side any where. They were the one who used to kidnap them and miss behave and also ill doings ..

On that point of time Akbar Was the one and only King who loved Hindus and he supported the hindu people. So he started getting married or they were not his Whatever what you have mentioned.Akbad kept them safe as Women were allways unsafe outside.. and they were never had any objection while staying in Haram . If it would be true.. can u believe that one man can have 5000 wives and also those all were staying with one Man.. I mean common impossible it is. They all were happy an safe in Akbar's Haram 😊
