I dnt whether to call Ruquaiya a hypocrite or an lost soul or even an idiot who thinks she's got it all figured out.She has no idea what she is in for.
First mistake that will cost her big is underestimating Jodha.I love the calm and befitting reply Jodha gave to Ruk today. She didnt to flare up or clawed at her.Jodha acted like a true Queen in the utmost composed state while Ruk is now acting like she is the Queen of a lousy fish market.
Ruk proudly announces so many times that she is Shehenshah's favourite Begum. She calls the rest of his begums toys so doesnt that make her one too?The favourite Toy that gets thrown away and picked up so many times. As she says he goes to her first but does he go to her last?Is she the only one that gets to be intimate with him??What's so special about being his favourite when he has doesnt give a hoot about you when he is with the others.
Second Mistake is calling Jodha a toy.Jodha is not a toy honey she is the whole package.A toy is something you play with and thats Ruquaiya.Jodha doesnt just want to play with Jalal she wants to fight with him too.
Third Mistake is thinking she knows Jalal inside and out.Yes she is his childhood friend but it doesn't take a genius to observe that the man has more emotions that he is letting on.Ruk never let nor give Jalal the chances to feel other emotions other than arrogance, ruthlessness, cruelty and essentialness to possess.Jalal has always been deprived of those tender and warmth emotions that Jodha will give him in time.He has always been evaded of these emotions because they believed that will make him weak. For a man who seemingly has everything he is lonely.A cold heart surrounded by power hungry people who are always scheming behind his back. The biggest mistake as Jalal's wife that Ruk made was never letting him experience life through a different dimension.
Fourth Mistake is challenging Jodha. There's a saying never judge a book by its cover.Jodha is in the enemy's land but her head is high, the blood that courses through her veins screams Rajput, her life may have taken a devastating turn but her honour, pride, valour, courage, strenght, faith and determination hasnt die nor will it.Ruquaiya is trying to tame a tigress would only get her encaged herself and she will watch as Jodha changes Jalal right in front of her.Her challenges will only strengthen Jodha's resolve and gap the distance between Jodha and Jalal.
Though I am hating Ruk now as time progresses she will start to lose her position and hold on Jalal. For Ruk she fight with things that are tangible while Jodha only needs a voice behind her army of vigour.

Agreed. Wrong, wrong, very wrong. Confession time - I had to force myself to watch the episode. I hated it. Except for J&J parts. There's something about this new "R" that just chills me. Beautiful she is, but so very cold, an ice-queen. Forget the dark, heck!, I wouldn't want to meet this lady in broad daylight. She freaks me out.

Mainavati was correct about destiny choosing its strongest warriors, because only Jodha can handle "R" (and Jalal, of course). With the list of villains many, I was hoping "R" would become if not a friend than not an enemy either, but Ekta, it seems is hell bent on ruining "R" character, turning a beautiful historical into a everyday 'saas bahu' kinda show 😡

What I don't understand about "R" is - why is she so insecure? According to her she's Jalal's favorite, why then this insecurity/hostility? She needn't bother with Jodha at all. Unless she does this with every new begum that comes in...perhaps, a territorial fight? Yes, she did have a silly tiff with Jodha previously, but "R's" arguments with Jodha are in regards to Jalal not 'pilgrimage tax'...

I cannot wait for her downfall. She's irritating the life out of me. And this is sad, I felt for her before, especially when she'd gotten teary-eyed, engaged in conversation about children. For a moment, I'd felt she'd been secretly in love with Jalal. No longer do I sense that. In my opinion, she's absolutely not in love with Jalal, never was. Or she'd have grieved when he grieved. Nope, never happened. She may think she controls Jalal, she doesn't. He controls her. It is her who has to behave just as he wants her to behave in order to hold his attention. Had she truly held Jalal's attentions, she'd not be bothered by Jodha's presence. Poor Jodha, it'll be really painful for me to watch her get harassed by her enemies. 😭

My verdict - hypocrite, lost soul, and an idiot!

Totally agree Amy! 👏 Ruk is severely underestimating Jodha and overestimating her knowledge of Jalal. I guess right now it's only clear to us that Jodha isn't just any new begum for Jalal. The others haven't seen it yet though Shariffudin saw it a bit yesterday when Jalal came out of Jodha's tent smiling after she'd injured him. I loved yesterday's episode! 😆

And I find it already a show in Ruq's flawed character that she assumed that when Jodha was singing that it was upfront to the Mughal Sultanat, as opposed to understanding that Jodha just came from her "homeland" and is obviously full of memories and pride of where she comes from.

ITs funny how everyone took the song as a rudeness to the mughal empire, and yet when I was listening to it, I felt bad for Jodha. She has no one, no friends, no family other than her brother whom she probably can't see easily, and instead is surrounded by horrible hateful woman. And lets face it Hamida banu althought friendly, can not be a friend.

So when she faces the situation with strength and sings about her people and her homeland, I thought it was brilliant and revealed Ruq's insecurity about Jodha...

Should be interesting on what happens on Monday for Ruq to be laughing the way she was. God she's annoying.

"R" has her target set on Jodha's forehead, intending to bring her down no matter what. I couldn't bear to watch that part...what was Jodha supposed to sing about? She knows nothing about the Mughal lifestyle/culture. She's in a foreign place with foreign everyone. Was she to sing a hindu bhajan? Ha! Like that would be appreciated by the Mughals. Poor thing, screwed if you do, screwed if you don't 😡 And Jalal just wants to find excuses to get even with her. Which makes no sense...what? She wanted his head. Who doesn't with his reputation (yes, we know he isn't all bad but others don't). And yet, its only her he wants to tangle with for wanting his head! Lol! Silly boy. Falling for her already but doesn't know it. 😆

In the precap didn't MA tell her after laughter comes sadness/tears? Seems about right to me that she'll be taken down a notch from her high horse soon enough.

What you said is exactly what I was thinking while watching the epi. What was she supposed to sing? She doesn't know anything about their culture. She could only have sung what she knew. Ruk obviously sees her as a threat otherwise there'd be no reason to go to her chamber and tell her things she'd probably rather not think about. She's Jalal's favorite right? Or has Jodha's arrival made her skeptical?

Jalal was probably hoping for a love song?! 🤣 Joking. Agreed - "R" may not admit it but she feels intimidated. No doubt it. Had she felt confident, she'd be awaiting Jalal in her chamber, not haunting Jodha. Dammit "R", leave Jodha alone! 😡
