I would love to see a spit fire Jodha who acts like a strong and independent woman. She has the guts and the courage and even questioned God why he didnt let her be born as a son so she would be able to fight wars.Jodha doesnt want to sit and adorn herself. If she has to get her hands dirty she will.I applaud her strength.Truthfully speaking I am truly fed up of weeping women shown at the mercy of men. Many serials today show the tests that women are put through to show their faith and courage.
I dnt want Jodha to become some Princess of Tears and continuously crying for 90% of each episode.I like this fiery Princess and this calls for good drama.Even though Jalal has all the power over his empire and subjects, he would have no power on her. They would be par and par with each other. Each trying to outdo and challenge the other.I mean Jalal is a confident, arrogant and successful warrior/Emperor.He certainly doesnt need tears to break those brick walls that he built around him.He needs someone with the balls to say what is the truth without sugar coating anything to fit his taste.
I want a strong Jodha.I dnt care if she is a Princess. She is a woman first and as a woman she has dignity and honour to protect. No one ever made rules on how a Princess should behave. If a emperor has certain advantage then why limit his wife?
Jalal needs someone like Jodha who will serve up the truth cold and bitter not massage his head and kiss his feet.
What you describe sounds heavenly. I am so sick and tired of all this agni pariksha crap. All these shows where women just sit around and weep all day. I may not like Ekta's Kapoor's other shows but I do have faith that she can create a strong woman...look at her famous characters, Tulsi, Prerna. I may not like those shows, but I cant say that those women were meek.
I dont know why anyone would want a doormat heroine. It's boring to watch. And it's annoying too. Imagine Jodha sitting at Jalal's feet and carrying out his every order. Amazing love story right. Yuck.
Its always fun to watch a woman who spits fire. And boy does Jodha do that where Jalal is concerned. She isnt afraid of him, isnt afraid of fighting him. I doubt she would just passively sit near his feet and do as told. She would fight tooth and nail. And that is always so much more fun and exciting than jee huzoor.
And I doubt its going to be raining fire all the time after they marry. Once the love story starts, the fire will stop. So I am just going to enjoy this while it lasts.
