Akdha OS:Delirious

Jalal has agreed to accompany Jodha to her Maika for Sukanya's marriage.

But what happens when he temporarily loses his memory?

Jodha was busy doing pooja in her chamber when Jalal entered.

"Still angry?" Jalal asked her. She said nothing and didn't even bother to look at him.

"I have some news for you. Your sister is getting married to Surybhan. Your father has invited us. Do you want to go?"

She knew Jalal was rubbing it in her face. He never missed an opportunity to remind her how her so called Mr. Righteous had done nothing as she was getting married to Jalal.

I'll not going to let him enjoy this. "Ofcourse I'll go. It's my sister's wedding after all. Will the great Shehanshah accompany me?"

"Only if you let me." He smiled at her. I never expected her to be so calm, he thought to himself. The wild cat is unusually tame.

"Can we stop at the Kaali Ma Mandir en route to Amer?"

"Of course, my dear princess, whatever you want."

"The cave is not safe Shehanshah. There are chances of it collapsing anytime." Azeem told Jalal.

"Hmm. But I promised her. I will go with her, while the rest of you wait outside."

"But Shehanshah.."

"Don't you trust me? Don't worry. Nothing will happen; it's just two of us getting inside at once."

Jodha took her pooja thali and went inside the Mandir with Jalal.

"Be quick" he told her. "It's not safe for us to be inside for long."

Suddenly, the place started shaking and great rocks from the cave started thudding on the ground. Jodha screamed as Jalal pulled her closer, cushioning her body against the rocks that may hurt her.

Jalal was hurt. His head was bleeding. "Are you alright?" she asked him as she recovered from her shock.

"Why would I not be alright? And who are you?"

Jodha was confused. Am I dreaming? Or has my marital bliss severely brain damaged me?

She pinched herself. "Ow! No this is actually happening! HELP US!" she screamed.

"DON'T WORRY MALLIKA, WE ARE CLEARING ALL THE ROCKS, IT WILL TAKE SOMETIME. ARE YOU AND SHEHANSHAH ALRIGHT?"

"Yes we are alright." She told Azeem.

"You don't look damaged to me." she observed.

She tore her chunari and gently cleaned the wound on Jalal's head.

"Are you my mother?" he asked her.

"What? Do I look like your mother?"

"Well you seem very motherly. Wait, where is my mother? Have you kidnapped me?" he looked at her suspiciously.

"I have no business kidnapping people. That would be you."

"Me? I'm only 8 years old!"

She was shocked, so his memory has actually regressed 12 years back? She grew worried. Good lord, help me.

"This is a strange place. Is this your home?"

"Err.. no. I live with you at your palace."

"Do you? How come I've never seen you?"

She looked at him, the innocece in his eyes, she preferred him this way. But she couldn't take him home like this.

There is only one thing I can do now. She took a small piece of rock and hit him on his head.

"Jodha! You've always disliked me but I'm your husband now! How can you hit your Shauhar like that?"
