Well, my dear Ela, as I said in the post, the one made her look as if she had contracted mumps, and the second was a mad glare anyway, and the likeness was also dubious. So, I agree, it was a good thing Jalal disposed of it pronto, and did not frame it and then spend time mooning over it!

But as for Suryabhan, he is such a milksop that I am sure he can feel romantic even about the mumps painting!😉

I wonder why the CVs cannot find a halfway decent artist to come up with a fair likeness. The old time movie posters of my childhood had much better likenesses of the stars!

I am glad you liked this one, and the episode was excellent from the beginning to the end.

As for Ruqaiya, she is in for hard times, and she is much more vulnerable than she is willing to let on. That was very evident today.

I really liked the episode today...especially how Jalal made his point...verdict was signed sealed and delivered with such authority...Bairam Khan had no way out...

As far as harem politics go...ruquaiya was his first and followed by so many others...she could not have held on to her position by mere fluke of being Akbars friend...its sad what insecurity can make an intellegent and strong woman. And this insecurity may rear its ugly head when Jodha enters Akbars life...
