A very neat post!

Yes, I can just see him careening all over the Rajasthan countryside in the dark, dragging along a woman who would be trying all the time to scratch his eyes out. and would make a spirited effort to cut his head off with his own dagger. He should thank Allah for having escaped this fate thanks to Abdul! 😉

But that was a nice, sassy line of his!

My favourite moment in the episode was in the end...Jalal and Abdul's convo...i must say...Abdul is in such a poor condition...yet he has to behave like a smartass...'Aapko mujhe nahi,uss Rajkumari ko utha ke laana chahiye tha'...

But Jalal's comment...'Maante hai ki wo bepanaah husn ki mallika hain...Lekin agar usse utha ke laate to woh nayab ban jaati...ehmiyat bad jaati uski'

God...this Jalal...really is very haughty in his own way...usko pata nahi...ki Jodha ki ahmiyat kya hain...and in the coming time...kya ban jayegi uski ehmiyat...Jalal ki life mein

Jallu miya...tum to gaye kaam se...😆

Very well pointed scene, it brought out many aspects of Jalal's personality, he was the ruler, a firebrand above all a young lad who just couldnt understand the gumption of a mere Princess.

"Ehmiyat"- i saw it more of a reminder to himself that dude just chill , she is just a girl and you can possess her anytym. He , who has always grabbed everything he has desired wants to own Jodha now. But what is even more fascinating that he refuses to even consider the impact Jodha had on him, her words and hatred are acting like pheromones and creeping under his skin without his knowledge. This beast is about to be tamed.

I laughed at the cheek of Abdul , he knows that Jodha Princess has caught the fancy of his emperor , loved the easy camaraderie between the two , and a ruler washing his minister is very important scene, shows that Akbar always had a heart.

He's so cocky and full of himself, but that is part of the charm of his character, can't wait to see him demand Jodha in lieu of attacking Amer. I'm just interested to see Suyraban and Jalal fight for her and if that's when Suryaban dies or what happens to his character????

A perfect take on a delightful scene👏,and as for Jalal nursing Abdul, who is just a companion and servitor, not even a minister, that was so gentle and appealing.

@blue
.I agree, and the key point you have made is that he does not know it as yet. And he will not know it for a while yet, but it does affect him a lot already. That was in fact, as I had mentioned in my post on the Monday episode. the scriptwriter's sole reason for all that being said by Jodha with his hearing.

As for the 'beast;; I will pass it only in the sense of 'the beauty and the beast'. for otherwise, Jalal is no worse than many kings were like those days!

yaa it was one helluva scene this jalal is haughty and arrogant king but i didnt get he didnt want to abduct her as she would become sort of precious😲 and so the plan B is to marry her😎 and make her unworthy 🤔 does he think wife/wives are useless and unworthy? 😆

Not useless and unworthy, but commonplace, I think. You cannot blame him particularly for what was a general attitude among powerful kings in those days.

And in fact even nowadays among powerful tycoons; ; how much do you think the likes of Donald Trump cared about any of his trophy wives? And Jalal did not have to contend with divorce laws and alimony hassles, with each bibi claiming half his kingdom to let go of him!😉
