Thanx for sharing...still I have doubts
Rajput people are opposing balaji telefilms for showing jodha Akbar...as they say..jodha named girl never existed in Rajput family
yes this is debatable subject Rajput ppl believe the name of hindu queen was Harkhu or Harkha or Hiraa bai.and there is no mention of Jodha baai in the popular literature...The name "Jodha" was used for Akbar's wife for the first time by Lieutenant-Colonel James Tod, in his book Annals and Antiquities of Rajasthan. he mainly took the refuge of rajasthan folk literature tht mentions about princess Jodhabai being married to a Mughal emperor Akbar around 1562 AD and mother of sultan salem ...some historians argue tht akbar gave her the name Jodha coz of her maternal connection with Jodhpur... often in Akbar's harem the secondary wives and concubines were named after the place they belonged to or having any connection from the place thus we get the name like fatehpuri aurangabadi etc...infact there is a mention of Jodhbai in the family tree of Amber/Amer...apart from it Jodhpur royal family and some historians firmly believes tht Jodhbai was eventually neice of Raja Maldeo coming from Jodhpur who was married to Akbar in 1570 AD thereby adding new dimension to this debate as per this theory Harkha bai and Jodhbai were two different person...and harkha bai was from amer or jaipur and mother of prince salim... whereas Jodhbai was from Jodhpur but not the mother of salim
watever the case maybe as earlier said this is a debatable subject but the possiblity of Jodhabai cant be ruled out as there are lots of evidence tht present her as one of the wife of Akbar...😳 the one is JodhaMahal tht palace tht was built during the regin of Akbar and was said to be the palace of Hindu Rajput Princess Jodhabai/Jodhbai...
and apart from it...it is not the first time jodha bai is associcated with Akbar nearly every movie/telefilm made on Akbar clearly mentions the name Jodhabai for example prithvirak kapoor Mughal E Ajam had the name Jodha a telefilm Akbar the Great tht telecasted DD national around 80-90 also depicted the name Jodha...in the movie anarkali Jodhabai is mentioned as sister of maan singh so its nothing extraordinary or out of the way to refer rajput princess as Jodhabai😕...the protest is like much ado about nothing😕😕!!!!
hoped it helped and thanks for the comment 😳
