Are the judges going overboard??????

I just watched this week's episodes. Let me start by saying "Phad Diya Debu".😃 👏

After watching this week's episode, I felt that the judges are going overboard while complimenting some contestants at the same time nothing seems to be good enough for some other contestants.

I think I am one of the biggest supporter of Debu in this forum. But Farha's comment to Debu on Friday was REDICULOUS. I am not at all an Abhijit Bhattacharya fan, but he did a fantastic job with "Aur Kya", and Debu was surely not better than the original.

Again, I am a big fan of Abhijit Sawant. He was awful Friday but still managed to get 8,8, and 9 and Farha saying "you picked up after the first part. When did he pick up? The whole song was on top gear going way fast than it should have. Did the judges decide that 8 is the lowest they are going to give.

Coming, to Toshi on Friday. Another awful performance. Just butchered "In Dino", and Sekhar says "We have heard you sing Omkara, blah blah blah…. You sang very well. Come on Shekhar, cut the crap. The tempo was way slow, the finishing's were bad, original feeling was missing. Just listen to Aneek's or Irfan's version of the song.

Last but not the least, Harshit. Vishal, have you gone deaf? "Main Amit ji ka fan hoon, RD ka fan hoon, kishore kumar ka fan hoon, aaj se tumhara bhi fan hoon. Vishal bhai, fan ho to ceiling mein latke raho, judge maat bano. Harshit's "Dilbar mere" sounded like a war song, as if Amitabh was fighting with Hema Mailini in that song. Listen to the original version and compare Vishal bhai.

On the other hand, Ishmeet is a 8 pointer. No matter how well he sings.

No...judges are Okay...sometimes they have to be diplomatic ...some contestants r favored by the channel and they cannot put them off completely....
And they r all good in some way or other ...no one deserves less than 8 IMO

I don't want the judges to be mean, but they should tell the truth so that the contestants could rectify themselves.

U dont get the point...the channel does not let them to ...and then there is also the editing table na ....
