What went wrong with Jijaji2?

What went wrong with Jijaji2? These are my reasons which I could think of now.

1. Not giving prime time slot to a new show.

2. No promotion for weeks.

3. Some unclear promotions.

4. Love web plan track which could be avoided in a romcom show. Online dating was more suitable. They ended that track in 2-3 days but ran this bakwaas love web plan for so long. Though they frequently changed Jija's plan but some of his lines and acts were disgusting in that track.

5. Lack of JCP true friendship development scenes as they ran love web plan for long. The friendship developing scene ran for so less time from Jija saving CP from eve teaser episode till Holi. Instead of love web plan they should have shown their true friendship to develop.

6. After bhootni being trapped, showing leads parents fight again for house.

7. Leads parents being Anti-JCP for no reason.

8. Glorifying kidnapping for love though its not major reason.

9. Taking too long to make important characters know evil power's identity.

10. Not giving suitable promos every week like there should have been promos for Titli kidnapping and find her mission, Jija getting attacked by bhootni in her room and others reviving him, JCP bonding promo when Jija constantly consoled crying CP during Titli's kidnapping, Jija's feeling guilty for love web plan and true love realization promo, Jija saying away after bhootni's warning and CP's flirting promo(extension of that mini promo of CP in Jija's arms), misunderstanding pregnancy promo, Queen Emily diary about curse breaking and finding curse breaker promo, CP-Gullu love act and Jija's confession promo, CP confronting bhootni promo after knowing the truth from Jija, CP knowing Jija's love web plan promo and so on. If these promos were played every week in creative ways then show's ratings would have surely increased and show would be saved.

11. No song sequence used on scenes except Jaane Kaise in episode 51.

12. Little to no dance sequence of main characters especially family dance. They only showed it during Holi, Naag-Naagin track and JCP dance on Jo Tum Na Ho in garage. JCPH had many dance sequences and interesting tracks which Jijaji2 too should have done.

I could only think this much. You guys give other reasons😊.

I feel that TV audience rejected this show for some reasons. I mean, they don't have any interest.

Like Manoj said, the channel was nonsense.

Regarding other reasons, I feel that many TRP shows or even the other shows from the channel lacks what you've mentioned but still they perform better or even good.

But really they could have easily avoided love web track and anti JCP slogans but only they stretched it.😔😡

That love web track was the biggest mistake. I thought it will be different story of frenemies falling in love which it was but love web track with Jija's lines and acts in the track was so unsuitable for the show. JalWant all of a sudden talking negatively about each others kids was too much especially after bhootni getting trapped by Jija. They could have shown some bonding scenes of Jija and CP with opposite parents but till date we did not get a scene of Jija-Sophia except one scene of Sophia falling on him. Nanhe seemed to be clearly fond of CP but him saying lines like 'teri beti akeli hogi fir bhi apne launde se shaadi nahi karunga', 'teri beti so and so hai' and him not wanting JCP when JamLi thought they are pregnant was too much and butchering to his character. Also Jaldi doubting Jija actually trapping bhootni and saying shining maar raha hoga baahar aakar the very next day of Jija trapping bhootni while nearly getting stabbed was also butchering to his character. They could have shown bonding of leads in hilarious ways with opposite parents instead of elders being Anti-JCP just because they are enemies. Also butchering of Bunty gave another wrong message.

No Dance Or Song Sequence.

But The Main Reason For Me I Think The Show Was On The Wrong Channel.

I Never Thought I Would Hate This Channel So Much.
