Am still questioning why is it important to create gen2 of this story when laying the foundation for gen2 requires undoing every character, every sentiment, the very cornerstone of the current story.. ???

If the channel wants to continue to work with this PH, they could have simply started a totally new show whose starting point could be that there was a couple forced to stay away from eo for a long time, over a period of time the man lost trust in his wife. When the wife got pregnant, he suspected that it may not his child as he had heard gossips that she's grown closer to another man...

This single line of 'starting point' for the plot of a new daily serial doesn't require ruining a well built old one. Are they saving money by not having to shoot some 10-15 episodes to lay this foundation for the new serail?

I can't believe in the argument that the channel wants to exploit the popularity of JHANAK and hence gen2.. "Jhanak", the writers themselves have no sentiment for it. It is visible from the way they created and persisted on Nutan in the current story. Don't tell me they made Nutan now only to MILK on JHANAK in gen2...

As you rightly said there is nothing to exploit from the previous generation…

Forget everything else….all the aspects of throwing the ML under the bus which seems SOP for all serials more or less…but what is there to shine on for Jhanak as a character? On which they are building their so called foundation?
What about her must anyone be interested or empathetic about? That she ran at every step, sometimes justified sometimes perplexing from the only relationship that she considered her own? If that was done to highlight her so called moral superiority, I would sat Leena trolled her titular the most in my view by mocking J on the very premise towards the end of this gen story.

Leena’s J wore the chastity belt over n episodes…

Supposedly the premise was J considered it a matter of moral turpitude to be associated with a man she supposedly loved,as he was engaged/married to someone else and tried to run on every instance, but somehow she didn’t equate it to loss of morality to have a physical relationship with him as time went by!! Her shifting morals also didnt prevent her from claiming for herself his ansh and just by mouthing a platitude she brought up the kid with another man - for 5 years? Where was the explanation for those actions and introspection especially since this whole morality premise was the supposed lynchpin of this character? Making the character steadfast on a flighty Amar Prem principle for 90% of the narrative, she made her falter on that very premise at the end? Passage of time?
btw I am not questioning her actions from a righteousness stand point but I am questioning the writer’s perspective on it? What is the viewer supposed to feel for J? Pity? Why should I feel pity for a character that held on to a false premise and ended up not fighting for her love. If the premise was she laid her trust on the wrong man… how exactly is she responsible for it?

If Leena wanted to highlight the lack of trust as the main issue, she used all the wrong aspects to highlight it cos through this entire narrative, despite Ani’s jealousy which has been on display on occasions…. Leena presented an Ani for whom J’s existence TOPPED EVERYTHING . Is the writer saying that Ani was so dumb that he couldn’t ever contemplate that J could have had the chance to be physically involved with any man that she shared a bond with When Ani went to see a dying Jhanak…he went there to essentially see PR’s wife not his Jhanak….Is Leena saying that the Ani who begged PR for J couldn’t have anticipated a physical relationship between the two…TO ANY LAY VIEWER ANI did that essentially accepting of it just as he was accepting of AK’s bond with J or Vihaan’s bond with J. To tell us that the same Ani imploded on this takes too much of a leap of faith to accept!!

IF SHE WANTED TO THROW ANI UNDER THE BUS ATLEAST USKI BACKSTORY TOH DANG KA LIKHTI - Yeh kya bakwas likha

I have never questioned a story teller’s prerogative for telling their vision. As a person keen on analysing perspectives I try to be objective ( it’s hard to in reality) even if it’s not a version that matches with my expectations or sensibilities. If Leena didn’t believe in Runak… it may hurt my sensibilities but if the story was progressing towards clearly showing why their love was doomed, I would say chalo mujhe dukh hua that a promising love story didn’t fructify but atleast I can see why it didn’t so I would have just put it on the list of a failed love story and put it behind me… This story made several innuendos but never explained why their love story did not see the light of the day…

if a writer does not have the conviction to tell a story why embark on such a venture and waste our time?

@bold: Absolutely 100%! Can you believe an entire generation leap was triggered by 10 minutes of Runak’s epic stupidity... after they fought tooth and nail to be together for 564 episodes? Like seriously... where’s the story anymore?!

Wow congratulations guys looks like runak wedding did happen . Nutan told him about the baby on their SR but he rejected it saying abort the child . Main tumhara dhoka bardaasht kar Lunga but kisi or ke bache ko apna naam nahi dunga. So they had a long ass fight scene about abortion 😒😒😒. That's why Ani will leave kyuki jhanak refused to abort the child and than she told him she'll bring her up alone ab rishta khatam hamara .....slow claps to the writers

Lol but Ani still seems to be in Haldi ceremony clothes during this last confrontation so how come Runak Shaadi is already done? They made him get married in Haldi outfit but Jhanak got to change to bridal sari? 🤷‍♀️😂

Ani ko lagta hai kisi ne bhadkaya hai into MU-ing. Maybe a phone call from Arshi and baaki PR ka drama 🤷‍♀️

Jhanak delaying so long in telling him about her pregnancy has given the opening for him to question the timing of the pregnancy it seems. lol and baaki Leena ki usual lameness probably in suddenly making him forget their ONS 🤡

But wow even Anishi divorce finally managed to happen? 😱😂. Last epi mein jet speed se saare boxes check kar diye lagte hain Leena ne 🤪😂
