While I am not hopeful but I have to say one thing… The only conflict that remains is when will Jhanak fight for her love? Obviously it could be 500 episodes or 550 episodes but until Jhanak makes a move to clear her head of cobwebs… initially her cobwebs were justified in the story.. now it is no more so esp from the HA track. By all her grandstanding all it is doing is letting people encroach her space; give respect to your relationship all things will fall into space

LOL if Jhanak fights for her love, Runak story will accelerate and progress....that is the one thing that Leena doesn't want na....so that option just won't be considered by Jhanak. They will just show random people advising her from time to time to consider uniting with Ani, consider marrying him but she will give her usual BS excuses of Bhagwaan nahin chahte....translation - Leena nahin chahti

Jhanak doesn't care about people encroaching her space....she just gives random lectures to absolve herself from any responsibility and pass off the blame on Ani or others

As for Minu.....lol it's so funny that the Minu/Choton who were crying for hope of Jhanak being alive somehow have not once been shown interacting with her since they learnt that Nutan is Jhanak.....they haven't talked to Ani even once since then either but both of them keep talking about how much they want Jhanak to win this case. Makers have all the time in the world to show filler scenes of Apu ka sasural or faltu repetitive dialogues of Didi but Choton is totally cut off from Jhanak/Ani's life now

Is kahaani mein sabhi log MAHA MATLABI hain....lol this is why I find it so funny when people nitpick Ani's actions or words....who is he being expected to give consideration to or for? These people who never even spare him a glance when he is dying of heartbreak? ......Aise logon ke advice se he should just sit back and live his life like a zombie? LOL amazing expectations these characters have from Ani while in their own personal lives, they apply different rules to get their way as needed

This shameless Choton was giddily romancing Minu yesterday without a thought for how Ani must be feeling right now seeing Jhanak back but no one supporting him to reunite with Jhanak.....everyone is just discouraging him as usual and telling him ki status quo mein pade raho....waah....lol

She is very well aware that Ani loves her, she flaunts this fact in Arshi's face when she wants to argue with her but will otherwise do nothing about it....it's like she enjoys the power this status quo gives her over Ani's life while she continues to build her own life without being held back by any attachments. Sometimes it really feels like she's mocking Ani for being stuck with baggage while she can flaunt in his face that she has no baggage of a +1 to hold her back

Absolutely interesting points…About the mockery… if I might say..she is placed expeditiously at the same place where Ani’s character trait of not challenging status quo is… it’s just that one gets the high moral ground and the other gets trolled

But it is situated in an entertainment set up where the expectation from a female lead is that of upright behaviour without placing that behaviour in context. I don’t how to explain this better but it’s like the writers know that getting revolutionary things done by men only goes so far in this societal set up where the burden of propriety is woman’s. We are a limited online audience that argues on relative merits but out in the hinterland, I doubt they expect Ani to do anything drastic 😂😂😂 which is why Leena plays this way with his character

I wrote a character sketch for Jhanak once but never posted it…😂😂😂

I called her the original Do naav ki savaar.

If you go back, at the start there were so many scenes that were so provacative, probing questions she used to ask of Ani.. Ani was absolute dudh ka dhula then 😂😂 but pad hi gaya uske pyaar main dheere dheere 😂😂 one of my very favourite episodes were the ones where she was testing the status quo…& Ani baffled beyond his wits!!

She got an opportunity to break free in strange circumstances, having to place faith in the person who saved her but knowing that she shouldn’t expect more than that. Yet, her naturally optimistic nature couldn’t stop her heart from wanting more. The wedding in strange circumstances was a way out but as a girl from a traditional background, she couldn’t help associating some significance to it and wondering if it meant anything at all to the other person. but her meeting with a person like Ani has had the biggest influence in the shortest possible time.. How could she not have lost her heart to this incredibly sweet man who didn’t have one malicious bone in his body?

But khair chodo… water under the bridge!! No point!!

LOL I enjoyed those convos too but it was always very clear that Jhanak enjoyed doing this passive aggressive morally righteous dance with him yet lacked the guts to actually deal with the consequences when he responded back with a direct answer sometimes.....then she would flip to playing coy or dumb like she can't understand what he's saying

The dance is fun when people have self-awareness and aren't pleading dumb per convenience. Jhanak at that time seemed to have more self-awareness about her feelings before Ani did....he toh had genuinely compartmentalized his feelings for her to another level where he refused to do any self-reflection....but Jhanak self-reflected many times and had monologues in her head about how Ani doesn't understand what she's saying.....lol yet she reverted to always shaming him for showing concern for her and using all kinds of twisted methods to fry his brain

Leena also never had the guts to show a Jhanak owning her feelings....lol all these probing questions ultimately never led anywhere because the leads took turns being cowards or playing dumb ....and now they have just been frozen in status quo mode constantly being lectured about how fighting for your love is pointless and you must roll over in front of people who show no care or concern for your happiness

boring episode overall..kinda yawned tbh...anirudh as a supportive person was nice to see but overall it was just ...boring...😴😴😴😴 2x-ing the episodes...

Yes…true it is no more of any use when the status quo is hard wired and thrust down our throats as if we haven’t seen how we got to this stage.

Leena using underhand modes to deliver a conflict that has no locus standi in the story.. that middle person in the montage is being propped by every sane and insane character… even the spot boy and light dads will be called next to say Arshi is biwi 🤦🏻‍♀️

I accept it’s always fun when the characters can go feel their range

Also if aren’t being saddled with societal expectations etc. I didn’t have an issue with Jhanak’s timidity until her baby track… cos I bought into the backstory and her circumstances being a natural roadblock from really bold etc .But a character evolves through experience but here they have given only one Didi jhaap which can turn to a taunt too but even in that we never know which side of the bed Jhanak will get up each day. 😂😂

Jhanak always had double standards from day 1. To me it has always seemed like J is indirectly making Ani pay for his mistake of marrying Arshi. She has just never outright said this and it is a sorepoint for me that Leena never had either Ani or J raise this.

Like Bodoma said no one put a gun to Arshi's head to get her to marry Ani. Similarly no one put a gun to Ani's head to get him to marry Arshi. He begged her to; accepted the marrriage, keeps begging Arshi to stay and is not lifting a finger to end it, only asking J for her saath.

Stupid thinkgs Ani has said include - end of day he will always go back to Arshi. Tejas telling J - Ani will romance her but he will never marry her...all played into J's flip flopping.

Soo many times J has looked accusingly at Ani for marrying Arshi - their aashirwaad, when she said he gae his gift to someone else, when she said she was forced to remove her sindoor and also the annulment. J was the one to volunteer the end of Runak marriage - yet she blames Ani fully - which means she had expectations from him, does not align with the didi sacrifice story then....

Ani's double standards came out only when Aditya came in. Ani is simply weak and undecided. The Ani of first 200 episodes has not surfaced even once since. Has he had any intelligent thought since he rescued J from Tejas in Kashmir. Nope.

Even in IV Hiba said Ani is letting J go. J def wants a stronger reaction from Ani regarding

She asked him to marry Arshi before she left Calcutta for her exams as a sacrifice because she thought it was morally the right thing to do,

When she came back to Calcutta she hope Ani would call off his wedding after their consumation. She even asked him why he was marrying Arshi if he did not love her. Ani's ego again convinced J then that he had a bond with Arshi that he would never break and after the aag incident she moved away.

Arshi is grabbing, lacks self respect, weak, vile, but there is at least consistecy with her.

I absolutely love the convenient amnesia that some people have about the two whole weeks starting from the HA track all the way to when Ani went to visit Nutan at her house......when he CONSISTENTLY and DAILY told Arshi to GET OUT and repeated OVER AND OVER that he doesn't want to be with her.

Strangely, those two weeks magically get erased from some minds while claiming Ani has "begged" Arshi to stay consistently....lol he only asked her to stay ONE time in that time period but it's being narrated as if he was daily asking her to stay

Also conveniently missing from the narration is how others constantly put mental/emotional pressure on Ani to "move on".....this is a strange description being pushed as if Ani was sincerely begging Arshi to stay....he literally asked her to stay out of pity one time and was still constantly moping around....how is this "begging" someone to stay? ....he told her two epis later again that he still wants to live with Jhanak's memories....so how is this being claimed to be "he always begged Arshi to stay"?

Even in that so called "begging", he still added that she can leave if she wants....lol she CHOSE to stay after doing her fake naatak as always and literally starting a fake act next day like she's dying for his love even though she knows he only loves Jhanak.....this is the woman for which people are bashing Ani?
