Hi guys! This is my very first attempt to write something. I hope you guys enjoy this imaginary scene!
Anirudh is infuriated with Jhanak playing the matchmaker for him and Arshi. Her words from their time in Srinagar still pierce his heart like a thousand needles ...
"Maine Arshi didi ko promise kiya hai, ke main aapake aur unake bich me kabhi nahi aaongi"
"Aap Arshi didi ke saath shadi karake khush rahiye"
"Main aisa koi kam nahi karana chahati jisase meri Ma ke naam par kalank lage"
Everyone in the Basu household has gathered to celebrate Ani's Haldi ceremony. After returning from Kashmir, to everyone's surprise, Ani was eager to expedite his marriage.
Amidst the bustling preparations for Ani's Haldi ceremony, his thoughts remain entangled with thoughts of Jhanak.
"Jhanak tumhare liye mera koi mol nahi. Tumane meri jaan bachane ke liye apani jaan khatare me dali, apani zindagi ke sath itana bada samzota karane ke liya taiyar ho gai... "
"Arshi se kiya hua vada tumahare liye muzase zyada zaroori hai? Mera pyaar tumhe badanami dega, iss baat ka darr hai na tumhe? Par tumhe mere bina rehane mazoor hai... Tumhe meri Arshi se shaadi manzoor hai... To thik hai Jhanak, Jo tum chahati ho wahi hoga. Main Arshi se shaadi karoonga. Zaroor karunga... aur tumhare samane karoonga... Chahe muze kitani bhi takaliph kyu na ho..."
As Jhanak enters the room, a hush falls over the crowd, momentarily pausing all conversations. Anirudh lifts his head, and his gaze locks on Jhanak. Pain and anger are unmistakable in his eyes. Jhanak longs to look away, but she finds herself unable to move...
"Ye tuze kya ho gaya hai Jhanak. Yahi to tu chahati thi, ke Sirji aur Arshi didi ki shaadi ho. To ab itani taklif kyu? Kya muze apane phaisale par pachatava ho raha hai? Kya main Sirji ko thukara kar sahi kiya? Aisa kyu lag raha hai ke kuch galat ho raha hai. Jaise koi train choot rahi ho..."
She hardly manages to look away from Anirudh, tears rolling off her eyes.
The Haldi ceremony proceeds.
Anirudh sits motionless in the center of the room, a lifeless figure, performing his role like a well-trained robot. Meanwhile, Jhanak feels her strength ebb away, her legs weak and unsteady. She clings to the pillar at the foot of the stairs, her eyes brimming with tears. Her breath and thoughts are beyond her control, her hands trembling in anguish...
Anirudh notices Jhanak and performs the ceremony with a taunting look, masking his own pain. Seeing her in distress cuts him deeply, while Jhanak's heart aches at the sight of his pain as well...
Bipasha walks towards the driver to hand over the bowl of Haldi meant for Arshi. Jhanak involuntarily moves towards Bipasha, she deliberately stumbles onher, causing her to drop the bowl of haldi from Bipasha's hand. The haldi spills on the ground, slattering a little on Jhanak's face and hand.
Anirudh is shocked by the entire scene. Jhanak takes a deep breath and turns to look at him, her eyes reflecting a strange mix of accomplishment and complaint for her husband.
While everyone is scolding Jhanak, Jhanak's gaze remains fixed on Anirudh...
And scene....
...first i hope this Jhanak doesnt break his trust on her..already lot issues they had in past..finally everything is getting better..hope again no misunderstanding gets created..& she finally stands for herself..cant take any more trouble..as once Ani goes back ..another drama awaits him
