1. It's very easy to become unprofessional when your CD is crippling enough. Because I have personally experienced and been diagnosed with CD for a considerably long time. Some people are high-functioning with depression. I am not sure if Jhanak falls into this camp yet. I would be more surprised if she is tbh.

2. As for her Maasi, I believe a part of her considers her to be a mother figure because she is mother's cousin. Yeah, it seems outlandish. But definitely not impossible. I would if I were her.

1 - If Jhanak didn't have the solid realisation just yesterday, I wd believe she's not in the camp yet. But with such realisation so fresh in her mind, I was hoping she uses her grey cells.

2 - Good seeing ur perspective, I'm not sure if I would or wouldn't. It depends on how the Maasi is. If she was faking niceness, I wd fall for it no doubt. But if she just spits venom like Srishti, I wouldn't. I guess I was high-functioning in some aspects and absolutely lost in other aspects. If I hated a person, that'd be the end for me. But Jhanak being young, has a lot of innate strength which is why she was able to believe Srishti I guess.
