I really think Salman and Punit were best choreographers the show ever had. Tusshar was also great and constantly tried to raise the bar. Among girls Marischa was great.

The guy who usually choreographs the kids teams is also outstanding. I can't remember his name.

I miss Deepak this season. He is really good at what he does. And even Savio! Never got to see much of him as he was always eliminated early because of bad participants but I guess he was good too.

And among girls yes Marischa was talented. And even Shampa and Nicole. Nicole stopped doing Jhalak after season 3 I think but I liked her choreos.

The ones I remember watching that I really loved, in this order:

1) Shampa (She was brilliant, she had great concepts. Some of her choreographies with SSR are my ever favorites of Jhalak.)

2) Punit (My bias may make me gush more than necessary, but 'Pehli Baar' is probably my favorite JDJ performance EVER from all the seasons I've watched. It was something else, I still watch it time to time, and I still feel moist-eyed. He was brilliant, but he's a great choreographer nonetheless, if you watch another current show where he's mentoring, his concepts are amazing!)

3) Tushar (I feel that he's always got pretty strong contestants to work with though. I would have loved to see him this season.)

4) Savio (Someone who can make 'Pehla Nasha' look so amazing with a pop singer, I mean kuddos!)

I don't remember most of others to be honest. Though I haven't actually watched all seasons completely.

Not a Salman fan, I think he's a fabulous dancer, just like Jai is, but they're both so limited in their choreographies. It's the same rehashed monotony presented in a different way. A choreographer should make you say 'wow', now that was something!

I think the lack of good choreographers this season, and new ones entering, is simply because all the previous choreographers who were actually awesome have gone way above. Punit is mentoring in D+ and acting/stage shows, Shampa is doing movies. I suppose the other opportunities are way better. Good for them, I'm actually so happy to see them become big, even though I miss them on the forefront.

i loved shampa..her performances with sushant are my favorites..she turned him into a dancer.

My fave are Punit, tusshar, Salman (as a choreographer only), shampa, Deepak and I also like bhawna

Deepak has been my all time fav choreo since the show's inception but others included are punit, shampa, marischa, tushar, savio, mohena,

In my opinion :'

1) Punit

2) Tushar

3) Shampa

4) Deepak

5) Maricsa

6) Vivek

7) Salman (I don't really like him personally, but yeah, his name does stand among the main JDJ choreos mentioned above.)

8) Sanam (Okay we haven't seen much of him in JDJ because mostly he enters as WC, or kuch na kuch kaand ho jaata hai- like injury issues last time. But damn. Of the current lot of this season, he is the best.)

9) Savio

Also, these acc to me are the original awesome choreos of JDJ. The main ones actually. The ones who made JDJ look like an actual competion. Inka bina actually mazza kam aa raha hai. But it is now difficult to get the 1st three in JDJ. Punit and Tushar might even return but as show directors( they direct IGT. So might takeup JDJ if they are available) or as Judges (Punit was approached the previous season in Lauren's place. But he.was already doing DID.) So yeah, there is less chances that these two might return as choreos.

Shampa is choreographing movies and assisting Remo. She choreographed a whole lot of Pinga and assisted Remo for Deewani Mastani. So there are very less chances that she might return as a choreo.

Vivek is awesome but he usually comes in package with Vaishnavi as some kid's choreo. So he MIGHT return this season if Siddharth Nigam enters as WC.
