Yesterday, the show began on a sad note when Scarlett Wilson getting eliminated. She left with a teary farewell. Later, Anita Hasnandani and Neha Marda were introduced as the two of the three wild card entries. Both of them tried to put their best foot forward and managed to get decent scores for their first performances. But today's episode began on a sizzling note with Malaika Arora Khan and Lauren Gottlieb kickstarting the evening with a prop dance. Well, that did set the tune right for some spectacular performances and unfortunately for some dull comedy as well!
Malaika and Lauren's magic spell was really something to talk home about. Both being good performers, their moves would make you hit a dance class NOW!
Faisal took to stage next and wowed us with his immaculate dancing skills. Given the fact that he is a superb actor too, his ode to mothers will bring tears of joy in your eyes. The best part is his act on Chunar song from ABCD 2 didn't miss mother but celebrated her! He was just sensational!
Next up was Sanaya Irani who is always the most anticipated in the show. Everyone waits to know what new will she bring to the table and this time she chose a bath tub! Fortunately, there was a shower or the stage would have burned up with all that steamy chemistry between her and her partner. She was HOT!
Manish introduced the third and last wild card entry of the show Roopal Tyagi who danced on Aa ante amlapoorum! Well, it was nothing to write home about as we found it pretty average and so did the judges!
But it was the dance marathon that just took out breath away, literally. It was smart, suave, chic, spectacular and a glittering sight! Shamita Shetty managed to break Lauren's record by dancing on the spot for 5 minutes 25 seconds non-stop.
Well, while all that was making us applaud the show, Malaika decided to make Manish dance with Lauren for her company. Props were yielded the whole gimmick. It was meant to make everyone laugh but other than the people involved, we doubt anyone even bursted out in a chuckle! Next time, please stick to the performances!
All in all, it was a fine show with some really awesome performances by Faisal, Sanaya and Shamita if you can program yourself to forget the idle banter on the sets about what the judges can't stay without. Next episode promises to have action, romance, dance and action and Malaika assured that's exactly what we will get! Well, let the countdown begin then...
