See I knew she was going to win before the show started - I'll be hated for saying this but oh well - I had a feeling when I saw GC won the last one and heard she was competing this year that she'll win this.
Uh oh - let the GC fans come attack now :).
It's no offense to anyone - I dunno why people get offended. I love her as Madhubala, loved her as Geet but my favorite was Muskan. I love watching her off-screen - she's one of the few who don't bask in the praise all the time.
But that doesn't mean she's perfect - no one is. I didn't think GC deserved it last year, I don't think she deserved it this year. I dunno why the heck they even get the contestants.
I will say this - she has improved A LOT since the beginning. For sure. But if the award is based on improvement - Shan deserved it.
If it was about non-dancers, then Mukti shouldn't have been eliminated. And in that case they should have eliminated the kids, Lauren and Sana from the start, or should not have let them participate at all.
It's such a let down.
Oh well.
You know - it causes unnecessary ... negative ... feelings toward the individual taking the trophy when it's not deserved. I don't want to dislike DD. I love her funky laugh, her snafus, her acting. I don't want to love her less because of this absurd show. But if this was rigged, if she was declared winner from the get go, then one can't help but wonder why she was part of something like this.
Oh well. My wondering stops here - got better things to do. Wish the world was more sincere - but hey - easy for me to say, I'm not in showbiz.
Cioa folks - it was a party while it lasted.
Till next time they decide to bring a crew and a winner from the get go.
