I have always thought the show was about dancing with celebs regardless of their talent in dancing !

Now I see ppl are claiming it's about dancing with NON DANCER celebs!

Can someone confirm what is actually true? 😆

Disagree. If the producers of the show has opted for "dancer" celebs in the show, who are we to question? We don't know anything more than what they know. The show is "Dancing with the Stars" not "Dancing with the Non-Dancer"

IMHO, being trained is Lauren's advantage; but that is her ONLY advantage. Whereas other contestants have more advantages. Participation of a celeb who has an extremely large fan base, who is a character in a show that is aired on the same channel as Jhalak, who is introduced as the character in a famous show instead of her own name and who has other famous television celebrities appear on her behalf, is unfair to all other participants. If we are judging based on talent, why the need of having celebs appear on the behalf of other contestants? Also, being child artists who excel in lifts (and are arguably the best in India in that style of dancing) and being children who are obviously "cute" who deserve votes due to that factor is also unfair.

If we argue about "fair" and "unfair", everyone has his or her (or their) advantages and disadvantages. This Jhalak is very interesting as it is battle of the popularity versus battle of the talent. I think that both DD and Lauren have managed to shine in talent and popularity; DD has shown that she does have the talent in dancing and Lauren has gained much popularity through Jhalak.

At this point, I believe it is still not a "fair" competition towards Lauren as she doesn't have the fans yet who will stay up and vote for her over and over (popularity aspect). However, I'm sure she knew this from the get-go (just as DD knew that Lauren is a trained dancer). Same goes for the kids and Shaan - each knew the advantages and disadvantages of what they bring to the show.

So to all, best of luck and may the best one win!! 👏

The best answer Shelly. You just said what is in my mind.

I don't know what your personal definition of a "celebrity" is, but it's clearly wrong. Lauren is as much a celeb as any of the other contestants. A celebrity can be from TV shows (Drashti, Sid, Ekta, KVB, etc), the music field (Shaan), or Bollywood films (Aarti, Sana AND Lauren).

I have always found DD pronouncing thirty as "Thutty" like u guys describe much more bearable than seeing Lauren putting out her tongue every split of a second...Ms. Bollywood celebrity Lauren needs to learn to tuck her tongue in before she attempts anymore Bollywood...well if it only sequel of ABCDs then no probs...

As for DD's thirties and body giving up...her hard work needs no certification from others...She is good and will always be good enough. I have no plans of making you people understand this because a person sleeping can be woken up not someone who pretends to sleep. Happy sleeping...🥱
