i also cant understand why people are calling aishwariya rai a non dancer

she is one of the finest dancer that our industry had and its not that she is doing very difficult steps but every movement of her has an just an exceptional grace which is so soothing to watch

and i will stay to that aishwariya rai is in dancing and acting wise better than madhuri dixit hands down😃

edit: 32 members wants madhuri to be replaced and 28 wants her to stay

so we are in the majority 😃

What honours though? Devdas was Aishwarya Rai's biggest breakthrough. For all I know, based on rewards, recognition and fame - it was Aish that walked away with everything. What expressions? I couldn't see Madhuri during the Dola Re performance. Do you know why? Because Aishwarya Rai COMPLETELY demolished her in that dance. Don't get me wrong, Madhuri is very good with her facial expressions but dancing does not always rely on expressions - you gotta know how to dance as well.

So scrap the expression bit and focus solely on the dance. It was obvious that Aishwarya Rai danced better in that song.

Indian dancing can be argued. But there is no way in hell Madhuri is good at western. She looks like a try-hard aunty when she does western dancing. She got murdered in Dil Toh Pagal Hai and in Dola Re as well. That's why Ash's career took off even higher after Devdas, whereas Madhuri ran away to the states because she had no career.

Maybe her dhak dhak days she was good, because she would pump her chest and make moaning expressions. But defiantly by 1997-1998 she was done. Even Kay Sera Sera is overrated. Sonakshi recently danced with Prabu Deva too, I found her the same as Madhuri. Nothing great.

You would honestly have to be blind to think she is good at western dancing. Lets look at the street dancing that Katrina did in Jab Tak Hai Jaan. The ishq dance, there is no way madhuri could have pulled that off. She has a very aunty type of body language.

Even recently she performed at awards show trying to do western and she looked stupid to me.
