By desperation, I mean you know, you start a competition slowly and gently and gradually pick your tempo. It's a matter of 10/12 weeks. See how lauren punit started and progressed.
The way he started, the concepts he had, all gives me a signal of desperation, those could have come now in the final stages. Like the Egyptian act - That's one such desperate act,you would do, when you are stuck & like to break free from a situation. Like leg licking kind of OTT sensuality, when do you bring it? In a situation like they are now, that kind of act could have brought them back.
But when in a normal situation you do, OTT actions, that only means you are desperate for any decent ideas. Now see now, he has proven that he is out of idea. The kind of choreography he did in last two,OMG, those were like school kids std. Do 2/3 steps and then run to the string, keep hanging aimlessly and then pick a national flag...wow...parents will clap out loud. But is that something you compete with, the kind of dance Lauren Punit did on the same day?? Was it any kind of professional choreography?
That's the only reason, I don't hold DD responsible for it, but Salman. If he had a good choreography and DD would mess it up, I could understand her mistakes. But where is the choreography? If he has to make it easy for Drashti, that doesn't mean he presents a sub standard choreography for that? He has to maintain the standard of the competition.
So that's how, I think, Salman isn't doing a good job with choreography, at all. He actually looks to have run out of ideas.
