Salman-Drashti: performances since last two weeks have been going down and Just heard that Salman & Drashti got 22 & 24 in their performances for current week... 😭

This is the third consecutive week of poor performance from this Jodi. Who is to be blamed for such consistent poor performance? 😉

1) is it Salman's Poor Choreography?

2) Is it Drashti's inability to Dance?

I think, it's more of Salman's poor choreography. ...

I don't believe it will be that hard for Drashti who is trained in classical dance, to implement any choreography. With a better choreography she should score much better than these scores. She is otherwise, working very very hard for JDJ...😊

HERE DRASHTI IS THE ONLY CONTESTANT AND SALMAN IS HIS CHOREOGRAPHER; SO THIS IS NOT A COMPARISON BETWEEN CONTESTANTS. AND WHILE ANALYSING THE REASONS, IT'S NATURAL THAT SOME PEOPLE WILL THINK IT'S DRASHTI''S WEAKNESS AND SOME MIGHT FEEL IT'S SALMAN'S WEAKNESS.

THIS THREAD IS AIMED AT FINDING OUT THE REASONS TO HELP DRASHTI, ONE OF MYFAVORITE CONTESTANTS, TO TAKE CORRECTIVE MEASURES AND COME BACK WITHOUT ANY BANG IN HER NEXT PERFORMANCE.

SHE CAN IMPROVE UPON HER PERFORMANCE OR REQUEST FOR A CHANGE OF CHOREOGRAPHER AS SHE FEELS SUITABLE TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE.

THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT DISCUSSION ON DRASHTI AND IT CANNOT BE DONE ON THE AT AS IT NEEDS OPINIONS OF THE NEUTRAL VIEWERS. ANYWAY DD AT WILL NEVER FIND FAULT WITH ANYONE OF THEM.

Anyways, from what I have seen, I say Salman is lacking big time as a choreographer, his creativity and imagination is down and on top of that he has been a weak at choreographing dance steps.

Then again, even DD is at fault since she isn't Isha or Yana to help him balance out his weakness.

Yes, I agree that DD is not so strong dancer, but you see other non dancers are being choreographed nicely hiding their weaknesses and without much lifts and aerials to kill time.😆

I think, Salman has lost the plot and he only thinks about aerial and lifts as the only way to choreograph DD, so he is being unable to do a reasonable Job as the choreographer. I know he was always a limited capacity choreographer...😉

I'm eager to see their next week's performance, to know, how he choreographed this time. I wouldn't mind o see a good choreography and DD failing o perform, then you can say that he can or he did his job... But if he does all half cooked things and still fails to execute like last time, how can you not doubt on his ability as a choreographer??...

Gosh everytime I went to comment, the post was locked... Don't know what posts are considered legit and what are not on this forum...

Coming back to the topic, I have previously stated too that it is lack in Salmans choreography.. The guy cannot think beyond lifts... This was his season to showcase as he didnt get a TRAINED dancer... But he failed to impress me... It's DDs vote bank that is carrying him in the show...

Isn't it obvious, anything negative about DD and Sal isn't considered legit on the forum 😉😆

As for Salman, I agree, good dancers have always been his advantage, but this season he got someone who has limited time + weak at dancing. It shows in their acts which are filled with unnecessary lifts. People are picking on Kids for lifts, but at least they have dancing included in their performance. But with Sal's choreography, dancing is very minimal in their acts.

Agreed

Especially with their latest act last week. The semi-classical act. Amazing dancing. They really proved their detractors wrong.

Not sure if Drashti can do that😕

At this point, I like to bring in another issue on Salman's choreography. Which was discussed a little in the previous thread, which has been closed. 😆

Is romantic & OTT Sensual Acts, Salman's Forte? Looks like there has been some criticism after his over sensual performances in the past acts with DD. as a result we don't see those things coming in his choreography for last 2 performances. And that might have been a reason for his performance falling flat?? 😉
