In all sports, anyone who has earned once, is called a pro... Like in golf, athletics, or boxing etc... Why the word permanent?? No profession guarantees a permanent job guarantee. A poor worker doesn't get much opportunity anyway...
She is a poor professional dancer, by all definition...
First of all dont accuse me of adding any thing if you want check out the site yourself.
Here is the links: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Professional
I am an enggineer and I am paid for it so it is my permanent job and I also have passion for dance so I take part in competition and shows where I win money as a prize.
I will always be called a professional Engg. not a professional dancer.
An organisation does not always have the best people of world. We have Havard Uni. PG students we have State Uni. students and we also have Peons who are illiterate.
Also if I win a school debate competition It doesnt makes me a pro debater. Your explanation is baseless and childish.
PS:
I dont noe abt others but Technical fields do offer a permanent Jobs.
