In all sports, anyone who has earned once, is called a pro... Like in golf, athletics, or boxing etc... Why the word permanent?? No profession guarantees a permanent job guarantee. A poor worker doesn't get much opportunity anyway...

She is a poor professional dancer, by all definition...

First of all dont accuse me of adding any thing if you want check out the site yourself.
Here is the links: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Professional

I am an enggineer and I am paid for it so it is my permanent job and I also have passion for dance so I take part in competition and shows where I win money as a prize.
I will always be called a professional Engg. not a professional dancer.

An organisation does not always have the best people of world. We have Havard Uni. PG students we have State Uni. students and we also have Peons who are illiterate.

Also if I win a school debate competition It doesnt makes me a pro debater. Your explanation is baseless and childish.

PS:
I dont noe abt others but Technical fields do offer a permanent Jobs.

You are failing to understand the Topic.

There is no doubt that she is an actor, but that has nothing to do with JDJ. She will be called an actor outside JDJ...

If you want to categorize her as a dancer amongst the contestants of JDJ, you don't consider her acting career. So, in her dancing ability, she is a professional dancer. Please read by previous posts, which has been edited.

We are not talking about Drashti's school cultural show baby, we are talking about her dance in the professional dancing circuit. At the highest level possible. Got that? Still, if you go for some debate competition, they will not tell you a non debator because u are an engineer, they will evaluate you with your debate credential...

Now if I have to go to such basic levels, to make people understand the premise of a topic, that's quiet elementary level of posting here...😕

What's your definition of a non-dancer.

Dancing at award show does not make one a professional dancer. Just the way acting in a school's play does not make a child an artist. Or cooking at home make one a chef.

What a joke. You probably have problems in your sense of proportions.

Compare school play with school dance baby. These award functions, public shows, video music etc are the highest levels of commercially available opportunities, professional dancers crave for.😉

You are trying to make a rat and an elephant look the same.😆

And see the definitions of Pro/Trained/non dancers on my posts in page 3... Ya page 3 😆

I completely understand her acting has got to do nothing with JDJ accept that her acting skill has already created a strong base for her.

Which edited posts are u talking about I am not getting it.

As I stated earlier and I am stating again By definition even if she goes to highest level in dancing she will not be called a pro because it is not her PERMANENT career. She has taken up JDJ to fulfill her passion for dance or smoe may to gain popularity. And also she cannot be called a complete non dancer as well.

Now think I enter in to a clg and I am good at my level but in noway I can be better than my seniors because they will always have more knowledge and experience than me. Similarly Shaan DD and Sid are the first year students and Lauren and kids are pass out of same clg.

Ok no more arguments with you. I don't want to enter into school level discussions and you won't understand pro level examples, so that will be a never ending discussion.😕

Agree or disagree doesn't matter. Well, you have come to a point that, she cant be called a "Non-Dancer" that's good enough ... 😆

Cheers 😊

So are you saying that people who dance at Dance Bars are professional dancers too ? 😆😆😆😆😆
I guess people who sing on the street and "earn" money are also professional singers? 😆😆😆
This topic is so ridiculous. Please mods do us all a favour and close it. Its just another way people are finding to hate on Drashti. Come up with a better excuse next time pls.

Actually you are being quite elementary yourself. Look at the topic you have created, Its clear you have opened this topic just to pick on Drashti. For no reason too.
And even if Drashti is a professional. SO WHAT? Werent you moaning about how Jhalak is a "Celebrity" show just last week? So why does it matter who is a poor or non dancer or professional?

She is not the worst dancer out there. I don't know why people are making her to be some kind of villain.
😆 Wow...the level people will stoop to just to bash Drashti.

Refrain from personal attack and bringing previous contestants while discussing.

No you actually have a lack of understanding. People who dance at dance bars are not professional dancers. How can you even say something like that? What an insult to dance.Just because you earn money for something, doesn't make you a professional.

This is not like the corporate world where the position you work in gives you the designation of a "professional"
In the world of Arts, it take a lot of training to be called a professional. Whether its dancing or singing or whatever. There are lots of people who are employed in the field or art who are not professional. Don't get it twisted.

Drashti is way better than some of the past winners like Mona, Chang and def Gurmeet. She is not the worst dancer out there. I don't know why people are making her to be some kind of villain.

You wanted to take a shot at me, following some previous exchanges, I get that. But you have done me a great favor in the process. Thanks. I'm sure, Drashti Fans including you will stop saying she is a Non Dancer etc etc bla bla bla...

And your post has been reported for personal Attack.

Thank you😊
