exactly...people who are complaining about vulgarity on TV use downright derogatory words to describe female celebrities. Where is their sense of morality then??

More than vulgarity, the show doesnt make sense to me..The way the judges comment seem so senseless..Its like even you or me can replace them 😆...Yes! Some scenes this season like that leg licking scene was downright creepy and came across as vulgar..Most of the performances have no depth or meaning..Heck! they arent even entertaining..Its more entertaining to watch random dance of barati people in weddings...This season has been the worst IMO.

I don't think doing western dances an wearing short clothes makes it vulgar... You cannot dance on a Rumba wearing a ghagra Choli eh... What makes it vulgar depends on how it is choreographed and how it is emoted by the celebrity...
But I do miss Indian form of dancing... Do a Chau, kalari, pure bharatnatyam... Or atleast do some themes that depict Indian culture once a while...
Deepak used to do some good Indian dances... I miss hi choreography this season...

I wonder how much body one covers when one goes to disco dancing night with friends?! B/c I sure have seen much worse there...😆...As the post above me said, western clothes do not automatically mean vulgarity, if it is emoted beautifully that is what matters...and I wonder when people have start caring about what is shown in reality shows, please do care what is around and make that better...

jo bikta hai woh dikhta hai ... simple

wrong in did even if the dresses are short you will not find a single vulgar step coz all is about dance and grace

where in jhalak they are looking to entertain the audience in a sexy way with vulgar steps like the famous licking step and many others

there is no comparison between these shows

Exactly, call it whatever you like, was indeed an unnecessary step and on top of DD's expressions. So more than sensual and sexy, it came across as vulgar for many.

As for costumes, then definitely not. Clothes don't make it vulgar, rather it's the overall impact of the act. One can wear a gown head to toe and it may still look vulgar with the expressions and the ambiance that is created around.

And I miss Deepak as well. He was just as creative and innovative with his concepts and at the same time he was quite versatile with his dance forms which included many Indian forms.

couldnt agree wid you more in this season nearly every choreographer dosent care about dance and more about the overall look of the perfromance highly disappointing

I don't understand the logic of traditional clothes worn for the basic dace form equated with vulgarity. It's legs and back, not a big deal. I guess these contestants shouldn't do ballroom, Latin or anything item number related either. Let's just do waltz and Indian classica dances since it's suddenly so taboo.

I swear, other than the calf move I can't think of nother dance step/move that Drashti did that was "vulgar". And she's not the only one who wears such clothes or does such lifts--spread th criticism out equally or don't be a hypocrite about it.

Ahahaha! Lame excuses to defend Salman. As they say editing takes place when they make up an episode to air so who knows for how long he ran his tongue on her legs during without-edited part 🤣. And their leg licking scene even for one second can leave a bad impact on others so it did on me, and i say again and again- their performance was obviously vulgar🤣

Let us imagine it took only 1 second because it's already a torture 🤣
