Exactly, Salman's licking, sucking, tongue or lips, call it whatever you like, was indeed an unnecessary step and on top of DD's expressions. So more than sensual and sexy, it came across as vulgar for many.

As for costumes, then definitely not. Clothes don't make it vulgar, rather it's the overall impact of the act. One can wear a gown head to toe and it may still look vulgar with the expressions and the ambiance that is created around.

And I miss Deepak as well. He was just as creative and innovative with his concepts and at the same time he was quite versatile with his dance forms which included many Indian forms. </font>

Chandu, I totally agree the licking, and yes it was licking what I saw... Was unnecessary... And for the sake of chemistry between the celebrity and the choreographer, lot of biology is happening... 😆...
It's every season it's getting a step ahead...in te name of innovative and creative one doesn't new to be crude and vulgar...
Also please stop with the lifts... Puhlllease... Not all dance forms need lifts...

LOL, thanks for agreeing that it was licking. I just didn't want people to get all technical with me saying only lips were involved and no tongue yada yada, like that would have made a hell of a difference 😆😆

And I agree, lifts are supposed to take the dance to another level, but when dancing takes the back seat, then even lifts look repetitive and unnecessary. I liked what KVB and Sneha did on the weekend, that act was filled with dance. Only if they had perfected the bits here and there, they would have created a better impact. As for western dance forms, none has so far impressed me except for may be Lauren. And looking at the trend, I feel the standard will dip even lower.

You know what, Indian dance reality shows when see dances with intricate steps we get amazed and forget if the performance at the end justified the theme... Yes lifts look amazing but it holds only a certain percentage of points but the theme, costume, choreography, ambiance, clarity, emotions, and the overall feel of the dance also should hold equal if no more weightage... Yahan har choreographer tries to put in 2-3 awesome lifts bhale hi baaki ka dance bura ho...

Yes Minnie, it's discussed and its disgusting... But lets not reiterate the same, it's like giving weightage to such thoughts... I won't discuss that, I will only talk about dance and choreography... And ofcourse the judges erratic comments 😆...

Sorry to butt in but exactly these lifts sometimes creep me out. These guys can put them even in the middle of Bharatnatyam or Kathakali... 😆
