Yes all those supposedly spontaneous interactions are scripted but I believe that's with almost all the reality shows.

As for DD's promotion in terms of promo etc, it's channel's call. However during the episode I feel it's Sid who seems to get most of the attention and off dance interaction and not DD. Apart from interacting with the movie guest DD isn't shown much unlike Sid who is called by Manish or Kapil in every episode to make him do certain things 🤔
