So, I really don't mean to start anything with this post. If you don't like my post, kindly move on with your life and leave your opinions elsewhere. I'm really not looking to be bashed for sharing my opinion here.
I actually bothered to read through all the post hoping I'll find something interesting but oh well I didnt .. No-one is bashing anyone here, just using the thingy called freedom of speech 😉
For a few days, now, I've been visiting this forum and, to me, it looks more like a war-front than a forum. It seems to me that people have picked one of two sides: For Drashti or against her. And, come hell or high water, everyone is bent on putting their opinions about her character, her appearance, her performances, etc. out in the open...allowing them to be scrutinized by the rest of the posters out there.
Just wondering where were you when bashing was going on? 🥱 and you are here giving such a long essay to all, will anyone else(Expect me) be bother to read all this stuffs and do like you are going to say? (which I'm not)
Here's the thing though, the show is called Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa... not Drashti Dikhhlaa Jaa. And, don't take that the wrong way. I'm a huge Drashti fan and, honestly, the only actress I like more than her in the TV industry is Sanaya. But that being said, I know how to remain objective. Drashti is a great person, she's beautiful, she's a brilliant actress, but her dances, as far as I'm concerned, are a little lackluster. They just aren't as epically mind-blowing as I have seen in Jhalak before. But, that's about all anyone has the right to judge her on. If you don't like her, that's fine... but you're here because of a dance show, judge her on her dance. This isn't a beauty contest, nor is it an award show... we don't need to judge her on how she looks or acts, or even behaves. If you have snide comments, keep them to yourselves, or find a more appropriate medium through which to express them. This is a dance show, like I said, and NOT a popularity contest. Honestly, I have been reading all the reviews others leave on this site, and they make me cringe.
well you are in a tv industry and people like to comment on everything, not only a dance as this is how people are. If you don't like someone you surely will end up talking about everything like behaviour, i'm sure you would probably do when you don't like someone.. And also be glad that people are talking openly about someone in a forum unless like others who are afraid to say anything just because they will get a WL. We are here because of the dance show? 🥱 We are here because of our internet facility in our homes 😉
I feel so bad for Drashti sometimes because she signed up for a dance show, not a "criticize-me" show. Even the threads where people claim to be neutral end up turning into a "let's bash Dhami and Salman" threads. Like, come on guys, she's not THAT bad. Yes her performances haven't been fantastic, but they haven't been terrible either (did you see Srikanth's 🤢). I'm in no way saying, however, that she deserves a 30. But, she's not bad enough to be doing worse than what she's getting either.
Drashti doesn't even know about all things so you don't have to feel bad for her. If you simply see someone bashing your DD just simply report, there's a report button specially made for that reason, you don't have to lecture here 😉 Sometime I feel bad for report button
On another note, I'm so sick of Remo always going gaga over Lauren and Punit. Honestly, they're both incredible dancers and, obviously, very well trained, but I don't think their performances have been so brilliant as to always get near perfect scores. Someone else today suggested that Lauren and Punit didn't really deserve a thirty, and I completely agree. The performance today was brilliant, but the beginning of it was really slow and the middle of it seemed a little haphazard. I seriously thought half the act was spent running around the stage rather than dancing. The act in no way warranted a 30. They are trained dancers and, in lieu of that, they should be performing acts up to their standards. Lauren's acts on SYTYCD were so much better! But Remo is always favoring them. I don't think I've heard him say more than one or two negative things about their performances and, honestly, I don't think they're that great...especially not last week. The only couple on the show who should be getting consistent 30s are the kids because I've never seen children so young dance so beautifully and expressively. Half the time I just watch with my jaw dropped open. They're absolutely incredible! But, getting back to the point, I've seen Remo time and time again favor Salman over the rest, but he's not even favoring Salman. And, honestly, I've come to the conclusion that in the previous seasons his favoring had to do more with the fact that Salman was working with trained dancers and, thus, his acts were usually flawless. This season, obviously, Drashti isn't trained and, as a result, their acts are being judged like everyone else's (also, on a side note, Salman needs to step up his game... I think he had it easy the past couple seasons, like with Isha, so he's not really sure how to make Drashti's performances flawless). But, Lauren and Punit should face the same sorts of criticisms for their performances. There's no need to always praise Lauren just because she's trying something totally different and is trying to assimilate into a different culture. If she did something wrong, she did something wrong and she should have to account for that... all of the other celebrities have to. And, don't get me wrong. I love Lauren and think she's a fantastic dancer, but she doesn't deserve straight 30s, or nearly straight 30s.
See just like you gave opinion about someone's dance just like we do for DD 😉 if we don't like something we just say it, so hunn put yourself in someone place and think about it
Also, in my opinion, Aarti should have gotten a better score. She did really well and Remo was right, she really is very flexible. But, the kids should also have gotten a 30 (did you see the all of their flips?! 😲).
I'm done ranting now and giving my little bhashan, so please, if you can stand to read this in its entirety even though it's the length of a novel, please leave a comment and tell me how you feel, from an objective viewpoint!
LOL i wonder what you actually meant to write about on this discussion 😆 do you mean OMG... this forum people or reviewing your point of view on everything 🤣Half of the way I thought you are all gonna lecture about your dd being bashed but last two paragraph I was like WHAT!! What so ever I'm not bashing anyone nor I'm fan of anyone in JDJ 🤣
