Hello Everyone,

I was really disappointed today by all the judges the dance performances did not correspond to the marks everyone got. Especially Lauren and puneet? The question mark is just what was on my face when I heard the judges praise their performance.

Can anyone tell what the point of the performance was? We had no concept behind the dance. The dance was pretty not upto the mark and more or less all over the place. It didnt focus on one form and the vast variety of dance forms they did show neither had the finishing nor had any specialness about them.

And especially coming from two people who are professional dancers ? I am really disappointed, The only people I believe who deserved a 30 were the kids or ekta. Loved their performances..

Question : what is up with the biased marking ?

I think Lauren did deserve a 30, if you compare her dance to the rest of the contestants. She is a trained dancer, yes, but she was also the one who made the best use of the prop given. She was literally on wheels from the start till the end of the performance and that is not an easy thing to do, no matter how trained you are. Yes, there wasn't a "concept" but there was a lot of dancing. I think Ekta and Karanvir deserved better scores though, especially Ekta.

I guess it would be really hard to dance with wheels actually on you. The concept in a way was the fact that they themselves had become the prop as Remo mentioned.

But as a viewer, it didn't feel like a 30 performance, especially knowing what Lauren is capable of and even Puneet in that case.

The idea was hatke and I would've given them an extra mark for that maybe, but definitely not a 10. I think they just want to see Lauren in the top 4-5 contestants to ensure that the competition at that time will be pretty fierce.

Yes they used the prop which wheels. But I thought they took it and did something very simple unlike the others. But do you really think two professionally trained dancers did the best they could ? I already thought it was unfair to have them in the competition because I personally thought of lauren being better than puneet and now I think they are getting partial marks. I wasn't entertained by what they did and thought it was below average performance. I felt like forwarding the whole performance and saw no wow factor to it but I kept watching till the end because I thought they ll bring something good into the dance but saw nothing till the end. Then I waited for the judges to say something which was the complete opposite but the judges disappointed me even more with their horrid comments.😡🥱

But I do agree with you karanvir and ekta deserved more

Well yeah I didn't think that it was a 30/30 performance that's what I thought as a viewer. I would give it 24-26 not more than that.

And yeah the wheels on you would have been pretty hard.

Hee that definitely wasn't their best but it was good enough. I know many feel that Lauren and Sonali shouldn't be part of JDJ since they have won competitions in the past but I guess they have been brought in to up the standard of JDJ. All of us know that neither of them would win but if there weren't any trained dancers on the show, the level would have been pretty low and the other dancers wouldn't have pushed their boundaries and tried something hard. 😳

As for the judges comments, hehe, I kinda agree with you, their comments do seem scripted at times and they did give some celebs more marks than they had deserved. I mean just compare Srikant's performance to Sid's, both were bad but I think Srikant was worse. 😆

Ekta deserved a 30??? for what? 😳

I think lauren was really good !! They were on wheels through out the performance where as others were half time dancing and then on wheels... They used wheels in a more difficult n innovative way than others..

what if there wasnt a concept? I dont think a dance really needs to have a concept all the time... They did freestyle dancing, and a concept was really not needed in that place!

What do u mean by it was all over the place? 🤔 didt understand that line...

They tried a small medley like thing using many dance forms.. I dont think there is anything wrong abt that

Well I never said ekta deserved a 30. I said they could have given her more marks. By all over the place I meant I didn't get the dance and why they were doing what they were doing. Why was sharukh's arm opening move put in ? What was the point of it ? And dance is a way of emoting or telling a story which was no where to be seen in this performance hence it was not the best performance and definitely did not deserve a 30. Even if she was given a 29 I would ve been alright with it but a 30 means perfect and bang on performance which this wasn't but I guess all of us have different views and for me the expectations from Lauren who is a dancer were a lot more than what she did.
