This is not a pure dance based show like DID which only rewards competent dancers. This is a celebrity show which rewards dancers who may not be great dancers but show progression in their dance during the course of the show. Needless to say that they need to be popular in order to win the public votes for after 50 per cent depends on public voting. Look at all the past winners.

1.JDJ 1 - Mona Singh
2.JDJ 2 - Prachi Desai
3.JDJ 3 - Baichung Bhutia
4.JDJ 4 - Chang
5.JDJ 5 - Gurmeet

So when all past winners are not great dancers but have improved considerably during the programme and are immensely popular, why can't Drashti win if she shows improvement? Isn't it too early to dismiss her off on the basis of one performance?


As to the channel fixing the results, how come Gurmeet who was never a part of colors won the show last year? Rashmi who was a long time star of color's uttaran could not win it.

its ok ..it was first first performance ..please judge her when the show will reach its end ..many people become nervous on first attempt ..doesn't it happen with u ever ...

i just hope talent wins over fandom this year,and proves to be diff. For me Rashmi, and Rithwick lost to chaddi last year due to fandom made me sick.🤢 Rashmi in my eyes was the far more deserving one than anyone. She had worked so hard.🤔

so just because last years winner was an undeserving one, you're going to call out a contestant from this season way before they even have had a chance to prove their skills ? makes sense. 🤪

Perfect for the present situation of this forum! Show has just began and her fans becoming fanatic over the results. The number of posts for a particular person speaks it all. Several things to discuss about the other contenders but all the topics lead the same route so one can imagine who will be the prospective winner.
