I dont think she is the best dancer but sure has a large fanbase but not larger than Shweta Tiwari according to me.
For me its a combination of option 2 and 3.

This despite being repeatedly bashed, not only by other fan groups but also by certain media sites who have maligned her to the extent she has stopped entertaining them altogether...

Drashti has a larger sane fan base than the crazy ones...its just that the sane ones will not waste time fighting..and have largely exited IF after getting tired of seeing equally lunatic DD bashers make IF a battleground to abuse Drashti and her fans.

Now that JDJ has started you will see the sane ones come out...so be ready to be surprised...
