Ashish Sharma's ode to Madhuri

Madhuri Dixit with Ashish Sharma

Not many know that, Ashish Sharma of Rangrasiya (and now) Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa fame, is a poet. The actor recently penned a poem for his favourite actress and judge on JDJ, Madhuri Dixit. We got him to share the poem with DC.

Mujhse kaha kuch likhne ko tumpar, socha esa kya keh doon, kya likh doon. Khali panna liye kalam tod raha tha, yunhi kuch shabdo ko jod raha tha. Sar phoda bohot kuch na sujha, sadak par us chithatdo mein lipti bacchi se he poocha, Kya kar leti wo bhi, do biscuit de main utha, Ungli pakad boli,main bhi kuch karna chahti hoon.

Main Madhuri Dixit bannna chahti hoon. Uski chamakti aankho mein thi tum, uske muskurate hontho pe thi tum, koi naam nahi koi shabd nahi, kuch banane ki ik chah' ho tum.⭐️

All Ashish's fan know this.. He is not only a poet.. But do amazing sketch as well... Love this man..

Multi talented ...

Outstanding actor and now we can say he is a decent dancer too..😛

Poet my food...JDJ script writes wrote that.. lol don't ask me how I know.. This season is being full scripted..everyone gets scripted lines to say in front of the camals

Ashish's writes poems and its true.He studied fashion designing so he does sketches too.Most of the things in Jalak is scripted but not evertyhing.I agree ,its possible that they would have asked him to write.That doesn't mean that he did not write it.

Yes..I know ashish is poet...even his father ashwani sharma is a poet though he is a retired IAS officer from Rajasthan.

I don't want this colors channel make mockery of his poetic talent.. Wish they wont show this on the episode.. Coming to his poetry.. It seems he has so much depth into it.. He didnt flatter or praise her beauty.. Simply describes her as a dream , an inspiration to all.. Love his last lines..

Personally i love his father's poetry " registan ki tapti ret"..

Completely agree...his words are deep unlike the superficial praise most indulge in. I also don't want the channel to make it into a nautanki.
