Well, When everyone is making posts on their beloved Shakti then why should I miss this chance? 😉 Considering the added fact that I adore her <3
Who knew that a Shy girl could dance so well. This lanky, thin girl took baby steps towards her dream of becoming a dancer. And it involved hard work. Pure hard-work. When doctors lost all the hopes... When they declared that this girl can never walk or even stand...She proved them all wrong. She not even walked, But ran,Danced... that too so gracefully that today she is one of the renowned dancers of India.
She won DID...but that wasn't it for her.. She never stopped growing as a dancer. Moreover she took different platforms, risk and proved her mettle there also. She is the Lead of a TV Show. Who would have ever thought that she could be a lead of a show and have such a massive fan following? None! But She was.. winning hearts of people.
I never said she is perfect. Nobody is perfect. But trying to improve and the desire of learning new things sets her apart from the rest. Even after winning DID she never stopped dancing, She wanted to learn more and more..Try different things. And her TV Show and her Calender are few live examples of it. She use to write blogs (And she was so good, Ya.. She'v been Scholar of her times). She walked on ramp, in the spotlight. Was face of so many big associations. I guess this sets her apart from other Dancers. They are here as choreographers. And she is here as a Celebrity contestant. Coz obviously... after gaining so much of popularity without JDJ, She couldn't be a choreo.
I adore Shakti for the person she is.. Reserved yet open, Shy yet bold...Disciplined yet Childish. That''s why She is my inspiration. She fought against all the odds and won so many hearts with her pure talent and generous nature. She is like a curious kid, always up for learning more and doing various things. And today when I look at her journey... I feel immensely proud to have Shakti as my Inspiration.
I will say again. Winning a game is not everything...but Winning hearts is. And Shakti will win hearts of many people, learn new things, Challenge herself to new levels. <3
