Actually , Shakti is one of the reasons I am watching this show. After DID , it will be a treat to watch her performances again.

DID is the highest level of competition in reality dance shows where only best trained dancers reach the top 10 and being the winner meant she was the one of the best amongst the trained dancers.

None of the other contestants in this show could have reached even Top 20 of DID.

Ideally she should have been a choreographer like Salman has been.

But she is participating as an actress here. And the channel will not make her win. It wud be like last year where Lauren reached the finals but a more "popular " contestant won. So that way it will be fair.

See, in my opinion, while it is not exactly fair to the other contestants, JDJ is also about popularity. Lauren came as a pure dancer, so did Isha. I don't think anybody even knew what movie they did before they came in. Shakti's popularity, on the other hand, comes solely from her TV show and not from her first fame as the winner of DID. Look at the people supporting her, they all know her from her TV show. I knew her from her show as well. Hence, unlike Lauren who built her reputation solely based on her dancing, Shakti is coming into the show as a quite popular actress. Therein lies the difference between the two.

- Shakti, at this point, comes into the show as an actress who is a great dancer, unlike Lauren, Yana or Isha, who were known as dancers first and foremost. Her popularity has nothing to with DID anymore.

Maybe Shakti would be the most apt to do the theme that I want to see. Hmm. She is one of the strongest contestants.

From last few weeks i was itching to put a topic on something which i know some people is going to react badly. I used to watch JDJ till last season as I used to enjoy the combo of an actor and choreographer.

But this time around i am really not happy with way Sakthi is allowed to contest as I am a big fan of her dance before JDJ. we all know her background. she came trough biggest dance reality show which she is a winner with big margin. I dont know this is fair to those contestants who came as an actor first then as a dancer who want to prove their dancing skills. But in case of Shakthi she is a dancer who is proving as an actor.. so she should be somewhere in an acting reality show...

Fact of the matter is whenever I see her dance it looks like to two choreographers are showing an act...I think salman should also be a contestant so that someone will be there to challenge her .😉
