ja_aime, for the first time i sort of agree with you. I have never said that Prachi dances badly infact she dances well. If you see my posts before her elim, i was a strong supporter of prachi. But like you i too feel she should not have given a chance to others to point fingers at her by herself asking to vote for Bani.

Also the whole Wild card drama was a bit too much so after her re-entry she should have acted more carefully. I know that she has many fans and would not bother her if a few like me start disliking her but as her supporter to hater, i just voiced my opinion. She is young and hopefully she will learn with age but the way the contest has gone and ended it has left a bad taste in the mouth of everyone - the contestants, Prachi fans and Sandhya fans.

first of all the host used to call her bani and smallest bahua nd all tht
prachi has also said tht she came here to make ehrself knows as prachi
she has used bahu when jay said to ask for punjab for votes
if u see in all reality shows people do say their onscreen names the host uses onscreen names wasnt ronit called mr bajaj always so wht is in tht
and wht difference it is to use tht onscreen name or bahu
if someone says bahu or onscreen name and if osmeone is not suppose to vote for tht person after hearing tht bahu will tht person go and vote no naa then wht difference does it make

But ronit never said that "vote for Mr.Bajaj" and if you see saturdays video, in that it was Bani who said this 5 times that I am your fav Bahu. Not once or twice but 5 times.

If there was no perceived benefit then why she did not stick to being Prachi .. simple coz it was the final and was closely contestant hence the reliance on Bani image to garner votes just like how Mona used Jassi image to get votes.

Kazeena, as I said, I am always open for discussion but not for arguement. You are welcome to say anything you want and I will reply. But I also do not want to upset anyone, take the discussion in the right spirit.

Zero, i request you to please see the video of sat episode. In that there are 5 times when she has said she is 'Bahu', 3 times in Hindi and 2 times in gujju (i was counting). It was not in response to jay. After she gave her first performance and got 30, she made a vote appeal asking audience to vote for their fav Bahu.

I agree that the anchors also played their part initially and refered to her as Bahurani and bani earlier. But in the final round, she herself was asking votes as Bani. SOmething which she could have refrained from. I feel that even if she did not remind people of her being bani, even then her character is so closely bonded with audience that she would have got the votes.

My opinion is that she need not have been a party to this herslef (no probs if the hosts said so) infact she should have even corrected the hosts that she is not Bahurani but she is PRACHI. People should vote for Prachi if they like her dance and not because she is Bani the Bahu.

Okay, may I ask you why it is a problem for Prachi to ask votes by presenting her Bani image? I've noticed that you're a huge Sandhya fan (and I have no feelings against this; you have every right to be one) and I also noticed that you've been arguing that it is quite alright for people to voice their opinions. Somwehere in your posts you have written that it was the judges, co-contestants, and others' feelings that were bubbling out and it was good that they have expressed it and not restrained themselves from what they were truly feeling. Well, if that is the case, then is not alright for Prachi chose what she wants to present herself as? This is a contest and like any other contest brains and skills are much needed. So what if Prachi appealed to the audience through her Bani image? It just shows her ability to recognize where her opportunity lies.

Besides, popularity has high reigns in this contest and Prachi may have realized that, thus garnered her Bani image to receive votes. Personally, I find nothing wrong with that because to me it just shows how smart she is. I would think her dumb if she hadn't deployed such a thing. After all, see where it led Ronit "Mr. Bajaj" Roy. His desire to not ask for votes through his television image was his desire and his loss. And don't get me wrong. I have nothing against him. In fact, I mourned when he was ousted. But what has happened has happened.

So, yes, thank you for allowing me to post. I hope to hear from you also. By the way, I will be sending you a private message concerning something. Just giving you a heads up.

As I have said before, this is not only a dance contest but a popularity contest as well. If it was not a popularity contest the public would not have been asked to vote, as I am sure like me there are several who don't know the technicalities of dance. Taking that fact into consideration I don't see anything in Prachi saying she is a bahu and beti. The beti statement goes without saying, as she is only 19. As for using her bahu image, why shouldn't she? It is her image, she has worked very hard to make Bani what she is, Bani is Prachi's on screen image. If others are using it to belittle her, why can't she use it to her advantage. I think it was ingenous of her to agree with Mona, Sandhya and Rohit people who kept harping she was the youngest bahu.

So wht if she's Bani? Ronit is Mr. Bajaj, Jai is Neev, Sudha is handicapped, Negiji was a complete starter.None of them used these as their trump cards. If JDJ is a popularity show woo, I agree , there's nothing wrong in asking for vptes for 'Bani', but the above mentioned people could have used asked for votes too, repeating'aapka Mr.Bajaj, aapka Neev, mera ek per nehin hein' 'sports ne mijhe bahuth dhoka diya hein ' etc etc. This strictly shows that the above contestants were unaware of the fact that JDJ is a popularity show too, which menas popularity is not there in the agenda of the show, else how come some contestants were unaware of it? So hasn't Ronit worked hard for his 'Mr. bajaj image? Jay for his'Neev?'

If JDJ is a popularity contest, why amke the contestants dance, they shud be asked to do wht they r best at-Negiji can play hockey, Mini can anchor, Mika can sing, RRonit PD and Jay can act, Tapur can cat walk-why make them dance then??

They could have used their 'trump cards'. However, they didn't and Prach did, hence their loss and her gain. This strictly shows that the above contestants were unaware of the fact that JDJ is a popularity show too, JDJ is a dancing contest relying heavily on popularity and it wasn't that the contestants were unaware of it; rather, they simply chose not to deploy their alter images as a way to garner votes. which menas popularity is not there in the agenda of the show, else how come some contestants were unaware of it? So hasn't Ronit worked hard for his 'Mr. bajaj image? Jay for his'Neev?'

Again, JDJ is not a popularity contest but a dancing contest that RELIES on popularity. And the purpose of it is to turn non-dancers "from all walks of life" into dancers so these contestants were absolutely suitable for this contest.

Please make sure you understand what the contest is really about before making such claims. It renders your argument rather defunct.
